Zennox Dual Floor Lamp 360 Degree Swing Arm with LED Reading Light (Silver)

This was bought to help with reading. The main problem is the poor quality of the small light which is intended to focus on print: it is no better than the standard light fitting although I now wonder if this is as a result of a faulty bulb as I already own two table lamps of this dual design which perform well. On reflection I should have returned the product but was unable to do so as I had disposed of the packaging ( I was confident the product would be acceptable as I had experience of this seller's products in the past). The accompanying lamp shade is very large in relation to the stand - although this is a matter of taste and replacing the shade with something more traditional solves the problem.

This is a pleasant lamp, but it is not what it says it is - a swing arm lamp. The arm of the lamp is solidly fixed to the vertical stand and does not move. The little led light rotates but you would not call that a "swing arm". Because of the misleading description I cannot give it more than 3 stars. If you were looking for a lamp that happens to have the shade at right-angles to the stand, this is a very good lamp. It has switches near the top of the light so you don't have to scrabble about on the floor to turn it on and off. It seems quite robust and it blends in with a fairly classical setting. But if you hoped on occasions to swing the light over a second chair, you will be disappointed.

Excellent lamp for our lounge we would have. Preferred the switches to operate the opposite way Ie DOWN FOR ON. AND UP FOR OFF ,But still good value and smart appearance.

Just as described, well made, very sturdy and gives an ideal reading light. Arrived before dates given and help was first class.

The light looks elegant and works well. The delivery was a few days delayed with no particular reason.

Arrived very quickly. This floor lamp is exactly as described. It was very easy to put together and looks to be good quality. We bought it for the main lamp which is very good, but the small "spot" light has become very useful for reading, knitting etc. Which means we can use a lower watt bulb in the main light. The two switches are on the main pillar, so very easy to reach and use.

We love these lamps. The additional reading light on a traditional style, and so unobtrusive, is a great idea, as is having the switches at the top. We found the shades a little big but no problem as we just put our old shades (black silk which we love) on to them.

As advertised. One design fault, base of lamp stands on cable, would be better with a side exit for cable.Lamp delivery good from seller.
