Bulk Milk Chocolate Covered Oreos - 5 lb Box

These chocolates were THE BOMB! I will definitely buy them again. The pecans are so fresh you can taste it, and they are very crispy... excellent texture. I really liked them so much, I was giving everyone a turtle so they could taste them and buy through Amazon. The box is worth the money I paid for it... especially, since Fannie May charges so much for a pound of turtles now a days. I wish "Dixies" were also sold by this company, but then it would have to have another name.

I purchased the dark chocolate pecan clusters,only because that is what was available when I was finishing up my Christmas shopping!However I received “milk chocolate clusters”instead,which is what I actually wanted more so than the dark.Then my second order was milk chocolate,and it arrived days after my first order,and I received a very small box of 9 chocolate dipped strawberries,and not another 5lb. box of pecan clusters,yes I knew right away that something was wrong because the very small box!Not sure how that happened exactly,but Amazon made it right,and gave me a refund.All and all these are excellent chocolates,and my husband is really enjoying these to say the very least,and overall for the price you just can’t beat it for the amount you get!Not sure why people are ordering the dark chocolate and receiving the milk chocolate instead,but it worked out for me.Happy with these,and I would order again!

This is my second time purchasing this product. I am not pleased as I was the first time. The pecans are very tiny pieces now and the chocolate is not as thick on the Carmel as it had been. For a huge box of chocolate I am so very disappointed . I will NOT be BUYING this product ever again. Why do companies change their product. "Fantastic " says it all! Each piece varies in size, shape, and thickness, definitely handmade, very good quality! You can tellthe pecans are fresh and toasted. It says "dark chocolate " but they are milk chocolate, not dark !! They arrived within 3-4 days after placing order, arrived in a styroform insulated box with 2 cold packs which were still ice cold. They are not individually wrapped, just layered, each layer separated by some type of waxie material, this is ok with me, but it might matter to some. I've had them for about two weeks and I'm halfway through the box, I'll be ordering my second box in a few days!A tremendous value for the quality and quantity !

These turtles were excellent as good as you can buy anywhere. There has been concerns expressed about shipping them in hot weather. I happened to be home when my order arrived and the temperature was in the 80s. They were packed well as stated. There was a cold or ice pack inside with insulation protection. It was melted and was just cool to the touch. The turtles themselves were fine, maybe just a little warm from the temperature. I would have concerns if they had sat outside all day in the hot weather. I do not know if the insulation provided would have been enough to protect the turtles from the heat. It would be better if the manufacturer at least in the summer inserted more cold/ice packs.This issue aside, the turtles are very good and I will order them again!

I have ordered these candies several times. The first order was what I expected, milk chocolate, Carmel and pecans. Unfortunately, the second order I was surprised to find a dark, waxy chocolate, and I was not at all pleased with them comparing to the milk chocolate. I have reorder a new box, and if I get the milk chocolate candies, I will be happy. If it is the waxy dark chocolate, this time I will return them and never order them again! The dark chocolate is NOT GODD AT ALL!!!

UPDATE #2Completely changing my review.I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt, and avoid being totally negative, but after looking again, the bloom on these is so extreme on every piece there is no way that these are anything but old.Researching "bloom" will tell you that chocolate hasn't gone bad when it turns white, and to not throw it away, but that doesn't mean I feel good about getting this in return for my 50 dollars.

SO SO GOOD!!! Don't worry about the "5 Pounds" part -- they'll disappear. Quality is equivalent to a walk-in confectioner store anywhere. Ingredients are simple and high quality, as if you were making them yourself. These are luscious!
