Great Replacement for Netgear FS728TLP Switch Fan
I wanted backup fans for my Netgear FS728TLP Switch. This fan is the same model that comes with the Switch, i.e. Delta EFB0412VHD.I had tried the Noctua NF-A4x20, including every possible pin configuration, but it would not spin. (That is not Noctua's fault. There's something about the Netgear that simply is incompatible with the Noctua.)So I got this Delta. One thing to be aware of: This connector for this fan comes with the AMD/Intel Standard Molex Fan pin configuration, i.e. Black/Red/Blue (Neg., Pos., RPM, respectively). However, the Netgear FS728TLP fan header uses its own unique pin configuration of Red/Blue/Black.The good news is it's Very Easy to switch the pins on the connector to match the Netgear. The trick is to use an awl to press in on the metal barb on the back of the connector. This releases the pin, which then easily pulls out. You can then arrange the pins to match the Netgear (or whatever device you're installing your fan in). This fan makes absolutely no noise on its own. After you attach it to the case, it makes a little noise due to the proximity of nearby components. Nonetheless it's still very quiet. My existing fan was about a year old, and this new one cut the noise by about half.

Read the desciption and study the pictures!
I purchased this product to replace the failing cooling fans in an old Nortel network switch. The description and the voltage of the fans read the same as the failing fans, but when I got the product I quickly realized the plugs are wired differently than the fans on the switch. I also realized the power cable is much shorter than those of the fans in the switch. However, the fans still didn't spin up when I spliced the old and the new plugs to match the original wiring layout so, unless I made a mistake in wiring (and I'm not a newbie at wiring), the fans themselves are bad.Disclaimer: I take partial blame for this mistake since the description clearly states the length of the cable. Also, one can see the wiring of the plug and the fan in the provided pictures. The fans don't work, however, but due to my own fault the fans cannot be returned since I modified the product.UPDATE: I just changed the review from 3 stars to 5 stars. The vendor contacted me, pointed out that fans can fail when wired incorrectly, and has offered to work with me to come to a favorable resolution. I give them kudos for their prompt response.

Extremely low airflow
This fan is rated at Airflow: 12CFM (Cubic feet per minute) at 12 VDC. I have 12.34 VDC loaded voltage, and I am getting a faint airflow from both fans. I have a 40 x 10 5 VDC fan rated at 7 CMF that puts out much more airflow. I'm waiting to hear back from the seller but, I am not hopeful, I think I just wasted my time & money.
