The finished board is sanded, stained, then coated with a durable, nontoxic finish. Crooked Mill, based in Phoenix, AZ, was tired of Solitaire boards that were bland, made of plywood and veneers, or too small to use. They found that many boards had tight spaces in between marbles, shallow holes that caused players to knock marbles out of their spots, or used cheap, light plastic marbles. They set out to create an artistic, well-crafted playing board and believe they have accomplished exactly that with this project. The whole family loves this!
My husband loves puzzle games, so after looking at several different games, I decided on this one. The wood and different mineral marbles are beautiful. I wanted a nicer game that my husband could leave on display in our living room, and this one was reasonably priced and well worth the money. Not only is it beautiful, but our whole family loves to play it!

this is nicely made..the marbles are a tad smaller than I was hoping for but still very nice

this is nice and my daughter loves playing it, actually everyone loves playing! I only wish that the marbles were bigger. They are the size of kids marbles and I was hoping for a grander look. Other than that it seems to be good quality.
