RFID Shieldex 10 Credit Card & 2 Passport Protection Sleeve Set

This RFID Blocking sleeve is exactly what i was looking for. I wanted something that wasn't metal, bulky, or expensive. I also wanted something that would work with my current wallet. This product meets all those criteria.As a bonus it came in a package so i have some extra and was able to hand a few out to friends.Great product, great value, perfect price point. Definitely will buy again if i need them.

I haven't personally tested the RFID ability of these shields, but trust that others who have reviewed have the right of it when they say they work.As for the functionality of them... it is a hard sleeve. Not a soft sleeve, like you get from your bank with your debit cards, etc. They STILL actually do fit into a wallet slot, so I'm comfortable with the unexpected hardness of them.The passport fits a little snugger than I'd like, and more than the credit card sized ones do, but I suspect that might give JUST enough to be perfect.Yes, it's a pain to have to reach into your wallet and have another level of reaching in order to slip your credit card out of the sleeve. But I love the extra layer of protection, both for the card magnetic strip (doesn't get worn or scratched), and the ease of mind of security (though I wonder if there's any real security purpose of having RFID for a magnetic strip???).

I purchased these before going on a week long cruise to celebrate my in-laws 65th wedding anniversary last November, 2014. I like the idea of being protected but how can you actually verify they're working? I haven't had any of my credit cards cloned but does that mean I'm protected by these sleeves??? They are stiff and the seam on only one card is already separating. Used a bit of glue to fix. Does fit into my wallet but my husband is reluctant to use because of their size and stiffness. He has trouble getting cards in/out while I don't. Again I can't truly verify their effectiveness but the idea that they might work is comforting and the peace of mind is worth every penny. I've used them every day since purchase.

I received exactly what was posted in the information for this item... I like them! After seeing several friends have their identities stolen, I decided to take the very cheap investment and purchase some RFID blocking sleeves for my cards. After using them for a couple months, the ones I slide in/out daily (like my Debit card) are showing a little wear and tear. However, the cards I don't use as regularly are wearing just fine. The only issue I have is that I'd wish they'd have a portion on one of the sleeves to write in permanent marker which card is in the sleeve since you can't see which card is in the sleeve once you insert it. I tried writing on them with permanent marker, but it didn't take so well. Overall, worth the investment.

I bought these as part of a package full of items for someone traveling overseas, but kept 4 of the smaller ones out for myself and my husband. You can fit 2 cards in each blocker, and at first it will seem like a super tight fit, but just pull them out once or twice, and no probs - they'll fit back in, and slide in and out easily. I even slip an extra bill on either side, just so I know I have a bit of cash on hand.Yep, I would most definitely recommend these to anyone who carries credit cards - just for the peace of mind if nothing else! Our world is changing, and peace of mind counts for a lot these days. This is a great value for some peace of mind!

I can't speak to how well these shields block attempts to read the RFID chip on my credit cards, but they seem to be well-made and pretty durable. After some years of use I've had to re-glue the seams a couple of times but that's simple to do and afterwards they are as good as new.

Cards catch on flap folded inside the sleeve. Seam easily separates on side of the sleeve to allow access from long side without hitting flap. Shielding is unaffected by this modification. Raised numbers and letters on credit card become imprinted into this sleeve making removal difficult. Also sleeve is very bulky does not work well with wallet. This sleeve is made of the wrong material for this application. Would not recommend.

These are heavy cardboard sleeves with apparently some foil coating inside. Since the small sleeves would go in my wallet, I don't want to use them as they will build up the bulk of the wallet. The passport size sleeves are very hard to use as the passports barely fit and are a pain to get in and out. All and all a big disappointment. I have purchased thin sleeves from Amazon before that have functioned much better.
