When it comes to face masks, sometimes it feels like you’re paying for ‘water’ since the jars are super runny and you only get a few uses before needing to buy a new jar. This isn’t the case with this Skin & Tonic De-Stress Face Mask. It arrives full of an interesting powder which when mixed with water it creates a fairly thick consistency which becomes easy to apply. Though you can alternate between a thick or runny consistency depending on your liking.Not only is this face mask very easy to apply, it is very effective. I found my face to be a lot clearer after a week of regular use in the evenings before bed. It has a lovely lavender fragrance which is a little strong in my opinion but doesn’t linger on your skin which is nice. After about 10 minutes of applying this face mask, you will feel it start to tighten on your skin slightly (as it drys) and at that point you rinse it out with lukewarm water. I did moisturise with a face cream after use to prevent my skin from drying. This mask comes in a glass screw top bottle which arrives ina pretty cardboard box.The mask is a powder so you are not paying for water and as it is lighter then its carbon footprint for travel will also be less.The mask smells pleasant and is a creamy white powder.You have to add enough water to a small amount to get it to a spreadable consistency. Once you have sirred it into a paste then apply this to your face and leave it on for ten to fifteen minutes.It goes on easily and a thin layer is sufficient. It feels slightly glutinous or oily. After a short while, this dries quite hard on the skin. I found that if I soaked a face cloth in warm water then laid this on my face then the mask was easier to wipe off.My skin felt really deep cleansed and smooth. It was a little dry so I toned and moisturised and then it felt great.I think I might try a little facial oil in with the mask next time to see how that works. I love that you can make the mask to suit how you like it.I like that this is a British company that is cruelty free and uses only natural ingredients.

I think dry clay mask is the best thing ever! It doesn’t dry out if you don’t use it within a certain time frame and all you need to do is add water. Perfect for travelling as well as it’s light and not classed as liquid nor does it take up a lot of space. Just need to add a bit of water and you’re good to go. Can even choose if you want it to be thicker or more on the lighter side. Really removes all the toxins and pollution your skin is exposed to on a daily basis. You’re left with clean and finer pores as well as glowing and refreshed skin.
