magglassiPhone 11/iPhone XR Matte Screen Protector - Fingerprint Resistant Anti Glare Tempered Glass (Case Compatible Fit)

I use both my iPhone and iPad in the in the cockpit. The iPad has an ArmorGlas anti-reflective protector costing four times the price of the Magglass protector. The Magglass protector actually has less reflection than the ArmorGlass protector. The Magglass does have a noticeable amber tint on a white background while the ArmorGlas background is pure white. This difference doesn’t bother me, but may require increasing screen brightness and cause some increased battery drain.

This is so easy to install because they give you a little applicator frame tool. I usually end up with a crooked screen protector but the little tool helps so much. I have an issue with glares where it makes it really hard for me to see my screen but this totally diffuses the reflective surface of the phone and makes it so easy to see, any time of day. In terms of texture, it feels soft to the touch sort of like a trackpad. I can’t speak to the durability of it yet as I just put it on last night but I’ll update if it cracks or anything. So far it’s exactly what I was looking for.

I always seem to have my hands full, drop my phone at least once a day. Over the past years I’ve had places like Staples and screen repair shops “professionally install” screen protectors on my phone but this time we ordered on line, paid less and the product is just as good if not better. If you are looking at this, my advice is go for it.

Update: changed my review to one star. Screen protector is already cracked. No falls. No crashes. No bumps. It’s cracked on multiple spots. The edges used to have a black edge that blended with the phone, but not this lady one I bought. This makes it crack so much more easily. Ugh. I need to buy another one.I first bought this screen protector about a year ago. It was fantastic! The install was easy. The edges smooth. I bought a replacement as my phone took a big fall and cracked the protector, but luckily, my phone was fine. The replacing has hard edges. They crack soooo much more easily than before. By easily I mean I got a crack on it now and all I did was slide it in and out my purse. I have had this for a week and I’m already in need of a new one. Was very disappointed by this.

I really want to give this product a higher rating. It’s very durable, was incredibly easy to install with the included applicator. I have to admit, it was the easiest and smoothest installation ever. But the disappointment started there. The product doesn’t cover the whole glass front of the phone &5 Le was a 3-4mm edge all around. I can guess that it can’t cover the camera because it’s matte, but this large edge means the phone has a big glossy surface area. That means pretty much all the anti glare benefit is lost as there is always a glare off of that uncovered edge. Let’s not forget it’s n area that’s getting ZERO protection.It’s also very hard to clean , I’ve always had a matte screen protector and this is by far the hardest to clean.Honestly, If I could return it for a full refund, I would.

I can't say anything bad about either the product or the buying experience. Came within a couple days even with the pandemic going on, and the install was great. I bought it for someone who specifically asked for an anti-glare screen protector and they like it a lot. Don't be surprised to feel like the images on your phone are not as 100% crisp, but that's because of the anti-glare coating, not because there is something wrong with the product. It doesn't affect it much, but you will notice the difference at first if you're not used to anti-glare. I have a Zagg anti-glare screen protector and it is the same, even though my Zagg product was more expensive than this one.

I use my XR for GPS and outside use a lot and I was getting really bad glare. This works so good it's amazing! No glare now whatsoever! Use the template and just drop the screen protector on, let it settle itself without working it and it seats just fine on its own: be patient! Once it's settled and seated work any bubbles out gently with a cloth and it's perfect!

I installed the product according to directions but still ended up with a couple of bubbles due to microscopic dust particles. I was very diligent in making sure all the dust was removed using the products supplied to me. Maybe if you are used to installing this product, it words well, but I don't think it is easy for a first timer. I tried taking it off and reinstalling it, but that did not work and after trying a third time, the screen cracked, so I just ended up throwing the product away. I would look for something else.

Very nice looking screen protector. Can’t even tell it’s on. When my phone is off it has a very nice matte finish that I like more than I thought I would.Fairly easy to install but I have 2 major issues that kind of negate anything positive.First major issue is it claims to be full coverage. This screen protector only covers the flat part of the screen leaving the curved edges exposed.Major issue number 2 is the package it came in says it’s for the iPhone 9....which doesn’t exist leaving me to believe this is a cheap knock off bootleg product. I would not recommend buying this item for that reason.

I was very excited to use this screen protector, I love the matte finish. I was even surprised with the warranty coverage for the protector. Unfortunately, a few days later my phone took a bad fall and cracked the protector. I tried to go through the warranty coverage not expecting it to be so difficult. I had a hard time trying to navigate to the point that I just gave up and went with a different manufacturer for the matte screen protector. I was quite disappointed but I hope others have better luck.

Searched for a matte finish screen protected and decided on the Magglass model.Installation lead to numerous air pockets despite being rigourous in cleaning and removing all particles. Once applied it gave the screen on my XR a blurry appearance, this may be a facet of the thickness of the protector but is not a desirable effect.Very disappointed overall.

The product was easy to install however, there are still a few bubbles at the edge of the screen that won’t go away. The screen protector is good quality but for me I find the matte makes it cloudy and hides the quality of the iPhone screen. I thought there was a layer to peel off once it installed but unfortunately there wasn’t. You can see from the pics the air bubbles at the top and the in the screen colour.

Heavy & slippery, one broke the first week. I ordered three and was sent one that was the wrong size even though ordered all the same.
