I first encountered the Jowbeam light while watching a guy try to fix my refrigerator. His light was as small as a pen, and amazingly bright. I asked if I could take a look at it, and he ended up giving it to me! I've bought a dozen of them since then, giving them out to family and friends. Never had one that didn't light up. They're bright, lightweight, easy to carry with a nice, sturdy pocket clip. And REALLY inexpensive for the quality. As I write this, they're less than $5 each in a 4-pack, and they really did arrive with one-day prime shipping. Can't beat that!By the way, they now come in a 365nm UV version. I have a friend who's an antique dealer. He loved the standard Jowbeam that I already gave him; he's going to go crazy for the UV version that I just received. It cost $2 more!I note that they're now making a smaller version, simply by shortening it and making it run on one AAA cell instead of 2. Might be worth a try, if you just can't carry around something a big as a pen. But I'll stick with the brighter 2-cell.

For this style light and this price, you can't beat this little piece of security. I clips in your shirt or pants, or your purse or pack. I gave one to my wife and kids, and I plan to buy more.

I've been using a couple of these lights for a few weeks now. They seem pretty sturdy. The weak link with these lights is usually the switch. So far so good. But hey, if one breaks, I have several more. That's the best part.

I received 2 four packs of these pen lights right on time. I tested them all and all 8 worked perfectly. They are very small and extremely bright, brighter than any pen I have ever owned. The predicted burn time on fresh alkaline batteries is outstanding. They also seem to be built like tanks and are obviously fine quality.I am sure you can tell I couldn't be more pleased.Joe

The product is bright and lightweight, but not very durable. It was dropped from about 2 feet and never worked again.

Switch is sometimes finicky or stays on.

light is tough

This is a great deal. Maybe not a well know brand name but for the money you can't beat these lights. Shipped fast too.
