Living in So Cal my last car had paint peeling off after being 8 years old. It was a Toyota and usually paint lasts longer but with the unrelenting sun beating down on it and with it parked in my driveway the paint blistered off. Bought a new one in 2017 and decided did not want to go through that again. This car cover protects my car and once you get the hang of it, taking the cover on and off is pretty painless. My only complaint is that it literally disintegrated after about 18 months. But then, think of what the sun would have done to my paint? Just ordered another. Still cheaper and less hassle than a new paint job.

Size A4SUV186 fits my Porsche Macan S perfectly. Elasticized front and tail of the duck cover fits so well that the tie-downs (provided) will only be needed for extreme wind. The carry bag (also provided) keeps everything together and ready for use. The “front” and “back” tags inside make it easy for one person to quickly put it on without any assistance. Stitching and seams are well constructed. Warranty card offers 4 year protection against product defects if you register your purchase online. AND.......the blue racing stripes make it more fun than my neighbor’s cover.

I love this cover, I have developed my technique as to how to take if off and put it back on, Half a minute to slide it off and roll it , and just about a minute to put it back on. Resistant material , not heavy at all , keeps my suv cool and for sure it protects it from the rain , keeps my car dry. Florida weather has put it to the test , the cover has been a great investment, couple of neighbors has already complimented my cover and have asked where to get one like mine. Cover could not stand more than three summers of Tucson sun and rain. Fabric began flaking, leaving detritus in car.

This cover is thicker than one I bought for another car. That said, thickness is a good thing. It is waterproof and protects the car well from the elements. This cover is a bit boxey but it’s adequate for the SUV, a 2011 Subaru Forrester. It would be great if it could have a hole for the rooftop antenna at the back of the car, but it doesn’t because it’s not custom-made. That’s a minor inconvenience. This is a good sturdy cover. For the price it’s a good value.

For the first months the cover exceeded expectations. Is very strong, and fits very well.However, after a few months under the tropical sun, it wore out. Apparently is not designed for hot weather.It can sustain strong wind but it has to be very well tightened with ropes on 3 different points. Might be a good idea to take it out before a storm.

Quality is okay but not great. Already has an area that has rubbed thin near side steps of truck due to wind and friction Probably good for 4 seasons and that’s it.
