I'm no expert on this stuff, needle point is my new hobby. But this "Orange Line" canvas is very "straight". It holds its shape very well as it is being stitched. The threads are thicker than the cheap hobby store canvas and this makes it a little bit harder to stitch, however, as the openings between the threads are smaller. The needle point project I'm working on is very taut using this canvas. Using #4 yarn w/a #20 needle, one wouldn't want to go any finer than the 13tpi canvas.

This is precisely what I wanted. I am completing a project I began in 1978! It has been untouched for 33 years. Originally I planned to make stair risers, but I am turning it into a tapestry and I needed canvas to finish it. Thanks, it's perfect.
