Good stand, but ...
The metal stand is fantastic - really good quality, heavy & solid.What a pity then that they ruined it by fitting a really cheap, flimsy plastic gripping device to actually hold the iPad.The plastic part that grips the iPad feels like it will break very quickly.It would not accept my original-size iPad, without using so much force against the springs that I worried it would quickly break.It did however hold my iPad mini more securely.Luckily, I was able to swap the cheap plastic holder with a different one from another iPad holder, which now works superbly.So, a great stand, which works so well, like an anglepoise lamp. BUT, spoiled by the horrible plastic gripper bit.
