Its was somewhat crushed and dusty but that might be from shipping. Its good perlite at a good price. Can't complain too much

This brand of perlite I’ve ordered multiple times and have never had a problem with delivery or packaging. The bag always comes in great shape and the quality of the perlite is exceptional! Highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I decided to try this product for my soil mixes because this last year or so Miracle Grow brand has sucked. It's been straight up white dust, useless for providing good drainage. This Black Gold brand seems much better with fairly good sized pieces. I'm happy with it so far, the truth will be at the bottom of the bag. What I don't like is the price but it is what it is.

I amended my arid desert region soil with this for my citrus trees after experiencing mild root rot and very poor drainage. Over all my trees are really digging it.

I disliked breathing in the dust-like perlite and kept having to pull my face away. With the "wear gloves" warning I imagine it should not be breathed in either, but this is only my second time buying perlite, and maybe that is just how it is. Overall it did lighten up my very dense soil.

It is as advertised- a bag of perlite. I gave it 3 stars because the bag came with a big hole right in the center--- no matter how much I tried to cover it- perlite dust and small pieces fly everywhere when I pick up the bag. Also it is not re-sealable so I had to cut an additional hole on the top that no matter how much duct tape I use-- I cannot close it. Perlite is everywhere.The actual product was good though- pretty big chunks and a lot of them weren't squashed to fine powder which is nice. But the bag is the worst.Used for succulents- things look good for the plants

Pieces are small to medium sized but care should be taken when pouring (I usually wear a mouth mask when pouring large quantities) because it does generate a fine dust that if breathed in will make you cough - hard. I like this brand because it's all natural and organic just wish they made bigger bags. Received it before the stated due date.

If you can mess up what is essentially styrofoam granules then I’ll update my review
