Vacuums like a pro, mops like me.
We had only just vacuumed when our Roborock was delivered but we let him do his thing over the ground floor not expecting him to pick up much. Jane was mortified by how much he collected and I was relieved that I'd actually found some "tech" that she was impressed by.This wee guy really does a great job. We keep him under the stairs and at 6.45am every morning he's out and about, vacuuming everything in sight before trundling back to the base station for a recharge. We leave the cupboard door open to facilitate this and Jane, who has fallen in love, wants to cut 10cm off the bottom of the door so we can close it. This is an argument that will continue until I give in.Apparently I'm not very good at mopping and the Roborock is similar. He does however get everywhere (which I don't) but if you consider it more of a "wipe" than a good mopping then all will be fine. To add the mopping feature there is a click on "drip" bottle with a cloth attached. It's very quick and easy to add and remove, as is removing and emptying the dustbin.... mere seconds. Our stairs and first floor stay cleaner in general because, as the ground floor is getting a vacuum every single day, dirt is not being dragged up on our feet. However, now and again we carry the Roborock to the top of the stairs and let him buzz about up there until he announces he's done but can't return to the base station. No, he doesn't fall down the stairs and is much easier to carry up and down than our old Henry. He also does a fantastic job up there and I'm just waiting for the, "we need an upstairs robot too", requests to start.Battery life is very much affected by the power setting. We have discovered that the balanced setting which ups the power when on carpets is more than enough. We have an averagely sized 3 bed semi and on that setting the battery would almost certainly last the whole house. We have integrated Alexa into all of this, so commands such as "I need the vacuum" or "clean the floors" will nudge the Roborock into action. There is NOT the ability to tell him to clean the kitchen or lounge but you can drop him in a room and hit the "spot clean" button if you need a particular area cleaned. To be honest, we have held onto Henry for things like this and also for the stairs. The smart speaker integration is so limited in fact, that it almost feels like Xiaomi have just done the cursories so that they can say smart speakers are supported. All things considered this has been a great purchase. It's possibly the best "value for money robotic vacuum" you can get as it costs less £250. It's an area where you can easily spend £1200 depending on your requirements. I think Jane and I got the perfect balance with this guy, but we have yet to see how reliable he becomes with age. Time will tell.

Roborock E25
Comes with a 1 year warranty, I've set it up in the hallway and it cleans that then go's into the kitchen then the bathroom then the front room. It avoids my steps even though I have dark carpets, It even climbs my white sheep skin rug, Also it does a map of the whole floor that it cleans and saves it every time. Only three times it got stuck once in the bathroom it closed the door on itself and when it tried to climb the metal frame of my chair and when it jammed it self under a cabinet but I Am really impressed with the cleaning and I really like it...Also I have only had it on for 5 hours 45 min so it's still very new...So far 5 stars

The best robot I ever tested!
I have seen iRobot Rumba, pretty new model in action and there is no comparison!. Yes, this robot beats the rumba all the way! I thought this will help me a bit with everyday cleaning. I was so terribly wrong! This thing is helping me a lot, not leaving anything on the floor even in the corners. We have German Shepherd shedding two times in a year leaving a really huge mess. This robot is fantastic! Mopping function is not great so we are not using it, but hoovering is the best I saw in the world of robotic hoovers.

Excellent value for money
So far it's been very good. Cleaning very thorough, mop works well and app control is flawless. Also pretty quiet, even in balanced mode.

Best robot vacuum for the price- buy one
I bought the E25 when it was on offer for £209 and I have been very pleased with the cleaning performance. I did't need mopping or extra features just a simple cleaning program that automatically started a few times a week. I was so impressed with it I bought another to clean upstairs. Better than paying £400 for a robot vacuum that had features I didn't need. The app was a bit fiddly to begin with but setting up the second one was a doddle. One thing I found with having two E25 was that with each having its own charging dock it seemed to interfere with the pattern of cleaning from one or the other. I found it missed a room if it passed overhead or below the second connected dock. I contacted Roborock's customer service several times and they were very helpful offering suggestions. They even offered a full refund if I was dissatisfied with their product. Each time they replied within a couple of hours and although they said a charging dock shouldn't do this I now turn the downstairs dock off when the upstairs vacuum is working and vice versa and that has solved the problem. All rooms are now cleaned. The dustpan is one of the largest in robot vacuum models but I empty it after each session just to keep up the efficiency of the vacuum. My household doesn't have pets or children so this type of vacuum suits us very well. I can't praise the Roborock E25 highly enough.

Does a good job
We put disinfectant in the mop bit so only really use that to freshen up our wood floors, works really well, the hover picks up everything and it moves from room to room very happily. We carry it upstairs and it does a great job on the carpets. WE liked it that much we bought another one for our elderly parents, who are very happy with it.
