A Solid Full-Featured Chair Like Those Made In The 1990s !
With so many office chair choices today, it is difficult to find full-featured chairs like those from the 1990s -- features we take for granted from that time, today we have to pay premium prices for -- especially if you are ignorant about your options, and are limited to choosing from the most popular sellers. If you are looking for more affordable options, and have to choose from the most well-promoted and trendy modern chair designs -- you are faced with having to make unacceptable compromises! Many of the new chairs designs lack all the versatile adjust, tilt and lock features of the older chair designs like this one, which is recently referred to as a "24/7 Swivel".Many new chair designs are also not as durable, using hard plastic where they should have used metal, to give it support. This chair brand and model is the closest one I can find that resembles my old 1990s chair (which I finally had to retire because the seat cushion was tearing). It is suitable for long hours of sitting at a computer desk, and you can tilt the angle of the seat, and tilt back the back rest, adjust the height of the backrest, and the height of the seat -- AND lock those positions in place.( IMPORTANT NOTE for owners of this chair: if you tilt too far back, it will lock the seat's tilt position -- and the only way to unlock it is to pull the extra separate lever near the front of the seat, while you lean back! The usual 3-side-by-side levers will NOT unlock it! )It seems the price for this chair went up 42% since I bought it in early 2022 -- but my reason for writing this CHAIR REVIEW is to let people know that many manufacturers today do not make chairs like they used to, and nowadays you have to pay close to a grand for a full-featured office chair, and in some cases they still use hard plastic where they should have used metal!I am very pleased with this Eurotech Seating 24/7 Swivel Chair -- as it is the closest thing I can find to what I enjoyed sitting on in the past.It requires some assembly, but it is sturdy, comfortable and a joy to be able to adjust it as needed when the body gets sore from sitting in one position for too long.Just add a lumbar support pillow like the one from ANTETOKO, and you are all set for many hours of comfortable sitting each day!My only complaint with this chair is that the height of the backrest only goes up to my neck (I am 5'8"), so I cannot rest the back of my head on it.In conclusion, I would recommend this chair to anyone who sits frequently at a computer desk!

Comfortable, but could be better
I got this chair because the cushions are nice and thick. My old chair the cushion bottomed out, and the mesh that supported my back drooped and was making my back hit the plastic behind the mesh. I also liked the adjustability options of this chair. For reference; I'm a 5'9, 165 lb male. I saw someone mentioned the seat cushion was too firm – I think it's a good mix between firm and soft. The many ways to adjust the chair I think everyone can appreciate; you can adjust it in almost any configuration you want. There's a couple things that are insufficient in my opinion: the arm rests don't go up high enough. The highest you can put them is probably where most people would find it optimal. Any adjustment lower wouldn't fit too many scenarios. Another issue that's common in a lot of chairs (but you'd expect better on a chair that's $300) is the piston that adjusts the height of the seat. I'm a very typical height for a male at 5'9", and the highest it can go is right where I need it. I'd actually like it slightly higher since I elevate my feet, but I'll live. With the arm rests all the way inward towards my body, my arm position is slightly too wide for me, but again I'll survive. The overall construction is very solid and they use heavy duty materials which I appreciate. You can tell this chair should pass the test of time. Overall, I'm pleased I got this chair and I think most others would as well.

High Hopes Deflated
I have had lower back issues since my 30s so a chair's worth, for me, is often directly related to the thickness, firmness and (if it passes the first two qualities) durability of its seat cushion. Though I read good reviews of this chair here and elsewhere, I returned it a day or two after assembling it.This chair's seat cushion was neither thick nor firm enough; in fact, I felt as it were pressing on metal soon after sitting on it and within a few hours I developed back stiffness. In semi-fairness, part of the thickness issue is related to the concave design of the seat (I'm not a big fan of concave seats in cushioned chairs but decided to give it a chance because of said reviews), but even taking the design into account, the firmness was lacking. Heck, I even augmented the seat with a 1" Purple cushion and still eventually felt the back stiffness return.Btw, for those who have serious lower back issues like myself (herniated disc, congenital fracture) and are larger size (I am 6'1" and 220 lbs) you may want to check out ULine's Big and Tall office/task chair. Unfortunately, can't be purchased on Amazon so returns aren't as easy or affordable, but almost the exact same price as this EuroTech chair but roomier and the seat, though not very durable, at least will pass the initial thickness and firmness tests.FYI: I am in my office chair usually 8-12 hours a day in terms of review context.

great chair with some issues
This is a great chair--I had an earlier version of it. When I ordered this one, I was very pleased with a couple of big concerns. Although the box looked good on the outside, the left arm came with a dent from the center post that appears to have shifted in shipping and now I have a round indentation in the left arm. I had hoped that it would work its way out over time, but after a month, it is still there and very noticeable. The chair also makes a terrible racket when you roll it. I can't see anything wrong with the wheels or base, but every time I roll in our out, the base makes a terrible rattling sound that is loud enough to disrupt a conversation. If you want a chair that presents well and can be used around others, then look elsewhere. If you want a super comfortable chair and don't mind the cosmetics and sound, then this is a good buy.
