Pierre RochMens Chunky Knit Fully Fleece Lined Slipper/Lounge Socks with Gripper Soles

I'm a regular wearer of slipper socks and bed socks.I tried these as a change to my most frequent brand which never seem to be large enough.These socks are just as warm, cosy and soft as other brands. Perhaps even warmer.But their construction, it's slightly strange.The toes feel cramped because it seems there's too much fabric lodged in the toe area. So it feels as though I can't pull them on fully. They also don't have much grip on the ankle and foot, so they tend to slip down till they're hanging half on half off.Some bed socks are a definite 'L' shape, ie sock-shaped. These by contrast have only a slight bend, like a plain tube with only a hint of a bend at the heel. So all in all they feel strange on the foot.Can't yet comment on how long they will last in terms of falling apart or wearing through. But despite the warmth I am already tempted to switch back to my old brand long before that happens.

I have only had the socks a short while and not had to wear as much as I thought currently, So I might have to review rating for durability. The socks don't feel like a single piece, but one sock inside another. They are thick and very warm. I do tend to get very cold feet and after wearing these for a short while, that issue goes away.**Update**I have worn the socks 5 times and the inner lining has started to come away from the outer sock. The soles of the socks also quickly failed and developed holes. This is just bad quality. I will be looking in future at a different brand.

Waste of money, you’re better off just buying a good pair of thermal socks. These are uncomfortable, not very well made and expensive for what they are. One of them has developed a hole in the inner lining after just a weeks use !!!???. These are basically a soft inner sock with a knitted outer sock on top, sewn at the top and bottom but not in between. So what happens is they rub together and make them uncomfortable to wear. Thrown away after just 1 week, not impressed!

As with most of these 'lounge socks', the first area to become damaged is the heel area (see picture). These particular ones lasted 3 months from date purchase. Have purchased other types over the last couple of years on Amazon , but all have the same problem in common. I would not recommend buying these, at nearly £10 pair.Shop around and read the reviews carefully before buying.Particular to check, if the heels are re-enforced and with what material.

Lovely for around the home.My feet get cold in the winter months whilst watching TV so I bought these to see if they would help. Nice fur lining, good strong woolen outer. Good fit on my UK size 9 feet. Might be tight on bigger feet (size 11).The non-slip pads on the soles are quite small and I think they are made of material similar to the gel pads on tens machines. If so they should rejuvenate after washing.

I wore these around the house and in less than a few weeks they’ve ripped apart. I’ve literally used them as slipper/socks in the evening. Poor quality.

Bought as a gift for my husband. Initially very happy, they were warm and comfy. However, after only 4 weeks of normal use and a couple of washes, there was massive wear to the heals of both socks (see image) and they are fit for the bin, I don't consider them cheap in terms of price so very disappointed. I've paid less for socks/slipper socks that have lasted months of regular use. I wouldn't be buying them again. My husband says they are very uncomfortable now with the wear so he has to bin them, this image is the latest picture before binning them.

Poor fit, poor materials. The top 'cuff' is very tight and could cause circulation problems if pulled on for an elderly relative. The outer 'woolen' material is very weak and would not stand up to any walking around. Didn't wash, sent straight in the bin.
