--------UPDATED REVIEW------While connecting charger and headphones.. playback stops and headphones doesn't work after 20 secs approx.1 star because that's mandatory.This is not a MFi (manufactured for iPhone) certified accessory and hence the Phone does not support it.Eventually.. continued use of this might damage the lightning port of iPhone or reverse power can ruin the headphone coil since there is no surge protection or reverse power control (diodes)I am returning this crap!------(previously I wrote this )-------The product solves the purpose. However..You have to first plug in headphones and then chargerAnd if the headphones stop you have to do it over again. Rest is fine..Build quality is 4/5Solves purpose 5/5Convenience of use 4/5

***PLEASE DO NOT BUY***I put both cables in and it complained about the incompatible accessory, I lifted my phone and the pin came off. I was left with 2 pieces. The charging pin and the splitter. It's not even soldered, it's just a few pins pushed in.PLEASE DO NOT BUY.I don't have packaging to make a refund now.

Bought 1 first and it was fantastic, worked well. Bought a second one, it didn’t work at all. Keeps charging and offing every few seconds. ‘Device not suited’ error in iphone
