This was recommended by a friend for my cracked/split fingertips. I have been using for 6 mo and so far, I think it helps. I will know more as the weather changes ie a full year test.cost wise, it is a reasonable cream. It is not a replacement for an antibacterial salve on open wounds.

Absolutely the best skin softener I have ever used.

It works, has no odor, and is nongreasy, non-sticky and reasonably priced. What more could one ask of a hand cream? While it helps heal finger cracks, it's even more effective at preventing them. I've learned to start applying it when the temperature outside begins to spend most of the day below freezing, rather than waiting for the first crack to appear. I apply it once a day, at bedtime.
