Overall a great utility rope or emergency rope of nothing else available.Did the job I wanted and will be used for other tasks.I'm.not sure I would trust it for permanent climbing though.

Good value for money in my opinion.

I bought this to hang an egg chair from a tree in our garden, up through the branches and then wrapped around the main trunk a few times and clipped back on itself. Perfect for this, strong and not going anywhere. I'm not a climber so can't comment on it's suitability for that.

Very strong, I am 14 stone and it has no issues holding my weight. Option of last resort to escape a third floor room. Hopefully never to be used.....

Not a climbing rope, no way would I trust my life to it, hauling stuff aloft and multiple other uses for it, I've knotted mine and use it for fun with a grappling hook. One star lost as there are a couple of "pulls" on the rope and the carabiners have rough edges

I got several thicknesses of this rope for odd jobs around the house and garden. It's really useful and great for that kind of work, and the fact it comes with formed loops and carabiners is an added bonus. However, do be warned that the carabiners are razor sharp so be extra carful that you don't cut yourself, or chafe the rope itself!My other criticism is that the exterior sheaving (as some others have mentioned) can rumple up. This, in most circumstances, isn't a problem, but I was running this through a pulley and you could feel begin to get stiff when it came to that section. It also kinks a lot more than professional climbing rope, so do be aware that it's not professional grade and you may spend a bit more time untangling.

This rope is not 12mm as described, as you can see from my photo it is 10mm so I have to give it 2 stars for false advertising. The carabiners that come with this rope are low quality and I think it goes without saying I would definitely not recommend using them for climbing
