Do yourself a favor and invest in trekking poles! Your knees will rejoice!
Father’s Day gift for the hubby. These are great trekking poles, extremely lightweight! Cork handles are a big plus for sweaty hands. Stowaway bag was a plus too. Hubby wasn’t sure about using trekking poles and enjoyed making fun of me for several hikes this spring when I used mine...the worm has turned. First hike out with his trekking poles, he said he was amazed at how it changed his pace and fatigue level. We both feel like trekking poles have allowed us to hike longer, saved us from spills on the trail, and have given our knees a much needed break! Highly recommended! Happy Hiking!

Lacks Durability
These poles were a major disappointment in the quality department. They were lightweight, as advertised and that combined with the price was what made them attractive to me. They also had all of the features I was looking for including cork grips, carbon fiber construction and anti-shock spring lock. I took them on one ten day section-hike on the JMT. Within the first half of the trip, the end of one of the poles broke requiring the pictured field repair. On this trip, it did not become an issue because I was not using my solo tent. However, that tent requires the use of the trekking poles to set it up and the pole tips need to fit into a sleeve designed to hold them. With one tip missing, it would have been impossible to set up the tent. Unless you are looking for a set of poles for easy day hiking, I would avoid these.

They literally don't hold up.
When I got them, I spent about an hour testing them out around my yard. One of them would collapse on itself no matter how hard I tightened it every 10 ft, and the other would collapse if I even slight leaned on it. That just wasn't going to do, and I sent them back. After some research, I am looking for a pair of trekking poles that don't use this locking system. I'm hunting for something that uses a lever lock system.

they are very comfortable and lightweight
I used these for hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains and the twist locking mechanism isn't strong enough. I fell multiple times because a pole collapsed on itself. Almost every time I checked, it had slid down a little past where I had it set.Other than that, they are very comfortable and lightweight, but at this point they're pretty useless.

Great Aid to Rock Hounds!
I was searching for a lightweight adjustable Trekking Pole which is strong, low electrical conductivity relative to aluminum poles, non-magnet with the possibility adding non-conventional extensions to the tip. The Voli Trekking Pole appears to be a winner on all counts. With the exception of the tip and some internal screws, which control the locking and spring mechanisms, the poles were made of carbon fiber, with cork/plastic handles. The few metal parts in the pole were scanned with a VERY strong magnet and were found be only weakly magnet and not of concern. The design is elegant and maintenance appears to be simple. The Summer and Winter Basket attachments are mounted via an external screw thread (see product photos at Amazon) which could accommodate any attachment that conforms to the thread specification. With the correct conversion interfaces, the Trekking Pole could become a Monopole Selfie Stick, a magnetic wand or the handle for a broom with an Acme thread. One of my hobbies is geology in and about the State of New Jersey, which is very urbanized. You don’t go sticking metal poles into unknown terrain in old factory and mine areas while expecting a favorable outcome.I only ordered a single Trekking Pole which I now realize was a mistake; I should have ordered a pair because they would help in addressing some of my mobility issues in the field. The pictures on the webpage convey the impression that all of the extra attachments were available with the single pole; however, the text clearly states that all of the extra attachments are only available with the Trekking Pole pair. Amazon should review the product page to make the intent clearer.I am giving this product a Five-Star rating and ordering a second pair of the poles to get all the attachments and keep the first pole for experimentation and prototyping. I am also going to send an Email to the manufacture requesting information about the thread specifications and the availability of additional attachments.

Fantastic deal and excellent performing poles
My fiances more expensive name brand trekking poles must weigh and cost twice as much. Fantastic deal and excellent performing poles. This was my first experience with trekking poles and I'm happy it was a good experience. We did several hikes throughout the Badlands and Black Hills this summer, on the longer treks... these were a great addition to have!

Voli Trekking Poles met the challenge!!!
Worked great on treks that covered over 80 miles in 10 days in Southern Utah at the Grand Staircase, ZION, Bryce & the North Rim. Never faltered and the super light weight with these carbon fiber poles is outstanding. I prefer their screw locking mechanism vs. a clip system, as it's much lighter and less bulky.

Voli lightweight walking poles
I bought these poles hoping I would be encouraged to walk more. They are lightweight and easy to use. I've had them for MONTHS and used them once.
