RO/DI Flood Protector - Electronic Auto Shut Off Valve Kit

I was looking for a semi-automatic water system for my Keurig coffee bar. The solenoid is normally closed so water will not flow unless you want it to. In a power outage, the valve remains shut. It works simply by pushing the fill button. Once the water reaches the sensor it shuts off. It will auto-fill when power is first applied. Make sure the level sensor and all piping are connected before powering up. The ONLY time it will automatically fill is when powered up AND the water is lower than the sensor. All other filling is manual by pushing the button. This is the part I wished I bought years ago. Fantastic purchase!

Bought this as a replacement for one that failed after 7 years. Had no hesitation in purchasing this as a replacement.

Works great to prevent floods when I preflush my RO/DI water into a bucket. Sensor is small and easy to mount with the magnet. Totally worth the money to avoid accidental floods!

Water as designed. Solenoid stays warm till power is supplied. The connectors have a bit of play that can be stopped using standard RO tubing U-shaped locks. Despite the locks, when I switch on tap (50psi), the system gets pressurized and there is a minor leak at the input side of the solenoid. Once line is pressurized, there is no more leakage

This product worked great for 3 months then last night it failed and now I have a costly ceiling repair in the bathroom below my RODI tank. There is a one-year warranty. I purchased this product on 10/3/2022. I will see if the company sends me a replacement.The valve is apparently stuck in the open position. It does not matter what state the unit is in. It is even open when powered off. The wood floor is buckling and separating, the ceiling downstairs is falling down and the rooms smell moldy. What a disaster.

Just installed in my RODI system to replace a float valve auto shut-off that would chatter like crazy for 15+ minutes when finishing filling. First use out of the gate on this system and it worked perfectly. Will update on longevity as it gets more use but as of right now, this is exactly what I was looking for.

I can't tell you how many times I have forgotten to turn off the valve to my tank sump. I have saturated the carpet a handful of times, and it's a major headache. This guy right here is worth every penny!! I especially like how the wires in between the wall plug, the controller and the valve are longer than I expected, giving the user options on how to use it and run the wires. I will be buying some more very soon.
