The pickup piezo element size is perfect and it is very well sealed in rubber, which cuts down on noise. It looks very well made. All the hard wiring and components are also very good. Very well worth it’s price! Works like a charm for my homemade tin box ukulele!

I got this as a goof to see what it would sound like if I stuck it under the strings of an electric guitar. As I suspected, it was too sensitive and picked up alot of noise from my hand. Because, that's not what it was designed for.I do, however, have an acoustic guitar that I really like that doesn't have electronics, so I figured I'd stick it inside that and see how it sounded. I was pleasantly surprised. It sounded great, so I got out some tools and installed the volume pot and output jack to the top of the guitar, now my old acoustic is an electric/acoustic. All for under ten bucks. You really can't go wrong if all you want to do is turn an acoustic into an electric acoustic.Just don't try to turn an electric guitar into an acoustic guitar with this. It won't work. But it was fun to try!

Sound is poor quality but works . For price can’t be beet worth buying for pot and jack buy a better piezo pickup and your set. Pickup is junk to be expected for money. 5 stars due to price and other parts good quality ,Throw away Pickup and get something better eventually . Such low output it picks up everything around you before your guitar .

I've used a few of these now. They work great and are super-easy to install. Great value.

It works great, not certain that a piezo unit needs a volume control as it still has to feed through your amp to work. I had to re-do some of my sensor locations as I didn't leave enough wiring slack for the final assembly of my cigar box ukulele soundboard. I used Gorilla glue to augment the 3M sticky patches. Happy with the results.

Cheap tone. The Journey PU is easy better.

This item is every bit as good as similar ones at two or three times the price. Works like a champ and. Was able to install it in less than 20 mins quality knob and hardware. With. A plastic self adhesive zip tie mount for securing.and ensuring a neat clean job without loose wires rattling around after install! good buy and will be buying them again soon! Oh and did i mention it came a day early? Well.i. just did now! Lol gotta go and tune the CBG i just Finished but not the blues!
