The company reached out and contacted me after I left my review the other day. They asked for my Amazon Order Number and address and then shipped a brand new microphone to me!!!! I received it last night, charged it and then used it today. That they took the initiative to contact me ups their rating to 5 stars. They are proactive and friendly and easy to work with.This microphone is awesome and wonderful. If you read to the end of the original review, you will see that I say that. I love this microphone, my students love the clarity of it. I use it mainly on pool decks, both outside and inside, so the quality is key to my instructions being heard. This microphone does that.I am very happy with this product. Thank you.**********************I purchased this wireless microphone from Amazon a year ago. I use it once or twice a week to teach a fitness class for an hour. About two month ago it stopped working. I was able to “re connect” the receiver and the mic. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Mostly it will start working and then stop. I left the two pieces on to completely drain the battery. I recharged it and re connected it for my class today. It lasted 38 minutes before the mic died. I would think that the mic should last longer than 50 hours of usage over a 12 month period. Since teaching is how I make a living, I take very good care of my equipment. I have a padded case for it, it gets charged regularly, and it gets turned off and put away after every use.I have tried to contact this company. There is no easy way at to contact them and no one picks up on their chat line. I am hoping that by leaving a one star review that they will reach out to me.When this microphone works, it is awesome. All my students love it when I use this mic over the others that are at the facility where I teach. The sound quality is great, when it works.

I am a full time teacher and I DJ on the side. I have a PA in my classroom that I plugged two of these into through a mixer. I share my classroom with another teacher so I bought 2 of the headset units. I own Shure and AKG wireless mics for DJing and have found you get what you pay for generally so I was skeptical about a mic that was priced so low, but figured I didn't have much to lose. We have used these for for about 100 school days so far and they produce clear audio that rarely drops out. The furthest I get regularly in my class is maybe 40' from the receiver and I only remember one time it cut out for a split second.I don't know if I'd use them for paid gigs where sound needs to be perfect, like a wedding or important speeches, but I might, and for my application, I am completely blown away that you get a headset mic, transmitter and receiver that functions fantastically. We use them both for about 5-6 hours a day, and the battery seems to hold up well, we charge the headsets every night and usually charge the receivers as they are plugged into my mixer while using them. The only thing I struggled with was using two simultaneously, but as long as you follow the directions pairing them on different channels works well. When using two headsets, the channels can get mixed up when you turn the headsets off and on, but I found all you have to do it turn both the mic and receiver off, first turn on the headset, second switch on the receiver, and they sync up every time.Very impressed for the price! Don't the inexpensive cost discourage you, this is a great value!

This headset came almost fully charge. I did charge it to full as instructed. I used it during a 2 hour gig a couple days later. It worked great! It connected right out of the box. The only issue is you need to position the mic somewhat away from your mouth to reduce the breath pops and such. Otherwise a great wireless headset mic.

I am so unbelievably disappointed with this microphone. It works so well and I was so excited about it. I teach you the full time and it's so clear and works with almost any receiver. But twice now I've purchased it and it stops working within 5 weeks. Almost like it's perfectly time to stop working when I can't return her exchange it. I just leaves me in. Frustrated, it could be such a good product to be getting crap out at 5 weeks. I even tried to contact the manufacturer didn't see any way to do that. Tried to get the troubleshooting link through Amazon and it's a 404 not found link. It almost just seems like this company exists just to take money and give you a false products and it's happened to me twice I truly believe that.

I originally bought this for a an event where I was standing, teaching/talking, vs doing a lot of moving and jumping around. It was GREAT! It was easy to set up. Connection was crystal clear. It did exactly what I needed. And if I had written my review right after that, it would have been a 5 star review. I put the microphone away in case of future need, and moved on.Fast forward a couple of years, and the wired microphone where I teach fitness classes, primarily Zumba and Bodypump, started having serious issues, and management was taking a long time to troubleshoot. I remembered that I had this microphone tucked away, and brought it in for my personal use. For reference, I teach 2 - 4 classes/week, depending on the week. I did have to put a rubber band across the back so it fit my head more snugly, but then it was HEAVEN . . . for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, the place where wire around my head meets up with the plastic piece became very loose, and the microphone is bouncing around. It's still usable, but I'm expecting that, given how rapidly the issue manifested itself, that it will likely worsen. I'm going to try using electrical tape to try to stabilize it, but I'm not sure this has the durability needed for a fitness class where one is doing jumping jacks and other high impact choreography.
