Plug it in, Find your COM in Device Manager, BOOM!
Putty, for those who are network engineers, works with this very easily. Nothing more frustrating than finding a cheap USB Rollover cable that needs some whacked out manually installed drivers. This saves time and consistently works every single time.BEWARE! If you don't plug it into the same USB port every time you MAY get a different COM# associated to it. Be sure to check Device Manager before blaming the product!

Simple and does the job without issues!
Worked right out of the box with no issues at all. The housing on the USB end was a little too thick to sit comfortably with my Surface Laptop, but that shouldn't be a problem with most laptops.

No more 9 pin serial
Used this to configure a Dell PowerConnect N2000 network switch, worked great. Shows up as a serial port once you have the drivers installed. Putty from their.

Drivers no longer supported
I was shipped the PL2303HXA model that is no longer supported by the manufacturer's drivers. This shouldn't even be sold anymore.

Quality but pricey
Works with Cisco, FortiNET and other major brands. Driver installation is needed.

Connector BENDS & not SNUGLY fit
The cable itself seems to work just fine; HOWEVER, the connector is quite fragile. I had one of these at work and noticed the USB connector seemed to be heavily bent. I thought it was just from use and abuse over time. Ordered one for myself at home as a replacement cable. Figured for the brand name and the heftier price THIS cable would last a long time vs other cheaper options. But the USB connector cant even support the weight of the cable itself when dangling. After a few uses its very BENT! Additionally, the connector doesn't seem to fit snuggly in devices (unbent out of box). There's a lot of material outside of the USB port almost as if they made the connector too long. I would have added pictures but I just bent it back a few days ago with my thumb -- no pliers required -- its just that bendable. Quality doesn't match the price; but maybe ill add a star if it doesn't fully break in the next 6 months or so.
