HunterSprinkler XCH600 X-Core Hybrid 6-Station Indoor or Outdoor Sprinkler Timer

I have lost count of the number of these I have purchased, the ability not to have to bother with wires is worth the cost in itself and the batteries last.

I did not like that a used product was sent, which I cannot use.

This unit works very well and is easy to set up and use. I bought another one 5 years ago that has been reliable. One 9V battery takes it through 4 months of watering (and likely longer). Make sure that you use the right solenoids.

Purchased in July 2023. Turned off in October 2023. Feb 2024 put new battery in and the thing is flaking out. Very very slow to update. Turn it to system off and it takes 10 secs to turn off. Will not control valves correctly and we verified there is no water issue by bypassing controller. How do I file a warranty claim?

I bought this to replace the broken one that was already installed in my garden(ants built a massive nest inside). Pretty easy to replace few wires and batteries And it works well

Perfect product if you need a station where you don't have power to. I installed upon receipt and it's been working great.

So far so good, picked up the orbit dc solenoid and a spliced them into the hunter unit, works great so far!

I did not expect this model to run on batteries. It looked almost identical as the unit we were replacing. We went ahead and wired it as it appeared to also have a built in transformer. The unit seemed to short out every time we turned it on. We ended up getting a different model from our sprinkler repairman. Product description needs to be clearer. I wasted nearly $100. I did attempt to return because so much time had passed from time of purchase to time a sprinkler repairman inspected it. I still have the unit in case the seller will still allow a return.
