best decision ever !!
i don’t usually leave reviews but i just gotta say this product is amazing and really gets the job done.i have a cat who as much as i love, likes to go outside in our yard (we have a safe fence for him) and bring field mice into the house. usually they’re dead, and i just sweep them back outside and say a prayer, but lately hes been bringing in live mice that scurry their way across my house and sometimes even into my room.its been KILLING me. i thought id rely on hoping he’d eventually kill them but i couldn’t live with the thought there could be mice around my living space so i got this. best decision ever! first few hours it caught two of them and it was cruelty free/non lethal because i knew id feel guilty killing a mouse myself. ironic, i know. regardless, ill probably be buying more.if you have a mouse/rat problem please try this out! you won’t regret it!

YES!!! It works.
This works. I put peanut butter mixed with poison in the center. They didn’t go near it for 2 days, but this morning I got one! Sad part - it’s still alive, that’s a hard thing to witness and be a part of. But they chewed up my water line and flooded my kitchen, I have to kill them.

They work better than flat glue pads
They did the job where others failed. Worth paying the difference and get the job done the first time. These mice were tough but avg house mice. Can’t speak for the kind you find on a farm that may fight the cat.

Did stick but needed my help
Did help me catch a very smart and problematic rat, but he was so strong he would have definitely gotten out if I didn’t hear him. He avoided them because he almost got stuck once before . However i startled him one night and he landed on the sticky when he tried to run. I had to use a box to fully catch him, but so glad he’s gone.

Excellent Mouse Trap
I found a mouse living in my vehicle so I tried the catch master. In 1 hour of placing the traps on both front and rear floors I found the mouse stuck helplessly on the trap. This is my go to trap in the future…..

Work well
These are very strong and worked very well. One of these caught 4 baby rats and another one caught the mom. I hate that I had to kill a living thing, but rats carry diseases and destroy electrical wiring and such, so I had to do it. These guys did the trick.

Skip this! Disgustingly inhumane! There are more effective humane traps!
I'm absolutely disgusted and heartbroken after trying these. We suspected we had mice start visiting under our dishwasher when our cat wouldn't stop sitting in front of it. I wanted something traps that arrived quickly and saw these. Seemed easy and effective. After two days, we did indeed catch our first mouse in it. I found it still alive of course and took the trap outside intending to pull it out of the glue to let it go (since it was still alive). I quickly realized that the glue was SO STRONG that even tho only the mouse's feet were stuck, I could not pull it off. Every attempt only got it more stuck like tar. I felt completely helpless and since it was not right to let it suffer just stuck waiting to die, I decided to put it out of its misery. (Which I then was inconsolable for awhile.)Look, maybe this is just a me-thing but seeing the effect of this trap felt so insanely wrong and inhumane, I was sick over it. I immediately threw away the 2nd one. Purchased some humane catch-release traps, and caught second mouse a day later. So there ARE alternatives that are more humane and JUST AS IF NOT MORE effective. To be clear, I'm not against deadly mouse traps. What is wrong with these traps is they do not instantly kill the mouse, but also not let it be released. It is left to die a slow horrible death. (It's also difficult to kill the mouse manually due to the glue.)Better solutions available!

We All Know This is an Inhumane Solution, but Out of Sight, Out of Mind?
I bought a handful of these to help with a moderate rat infestation. For months, these just didn't do anything. Seems like most rats push it to probe what it is, because I found the traps turned over etc. I resigned that these traps were not going to catch anything but insects. And then.... yesterday I went to the basement to get something and as I walked near I heard rats screaming. Three young rats were stuck in the trap. I am guessing that one got stuck, and the other two came to try to help.If I had not had to go down there and seen this, they would have died and I wouldn't have cared too much. But after seeing it, I just couldn't do nothing. I used to have pet rats, just like people have Gerbil's, these creatures have little souls and personalities. They have the ability to bond and show and receive affection.I knew when I bough these it was a very inhumane solution, but since they are eating our foods supply etc. it had to be done.So now I have these three rats completely glued down and I have to decide how to end their lives humanely rather than let them chew off each others legs, or simply starve to death. But first, I wanted to see if they can be released.I took them outside to develop a plan. Problem was that when I was in sight, they would scream and try to pull away, and that was going to interfere with anything I tried to do and make matters worse. So I spent a few minutes trying to make it obvious that I was there to help and calm them. Yes, that involved stroking their backs and heads with a finger, just like one would pet a cat.I got a screw driver, and tried to dig the screwdriver into the glue and under each foot to try to free it. That just wasn't going to work.I got some olive oil, about a half cup, and poured it on the glue, their feet, tails, etc. Everything that was bonded. After doing that, I saw one foot come free immediately, and not get re-stuck. So I used my screw driver in the same way, and freed one and it ran off.Now there is more room to work on the other two, and it didn't take much work to get another free, and that one scurried off. The last one whose feet were on the bottom and deepest, and is the one I think was trapped first and for the longest, had very little energy.Nonetheless, once I freed his feet he scurried off too. They all ran in the direction of the lawn and not the house, which made me a little happier to be releasing them.Even if they eventually head back in and they meet their doom via the snap traps, etc. I can at least say they were given a chance.I won't buy these again because it is just a little more inhumane than I would have thought before I saw it with my own eyes. It isn't the fault of the product, but I personally won't be buying these kinds of traps again.
