Quality over quantity, this is the best fish oil.
Great fish oil capsules. When I take supplements I do a lot of research before my purchase. Although there are many cheaper brands, with double the capsules than this container has, for a cheaper price, you have to think of the saying "You get what you pay for". In this case, I chose quality over quantity any day. The amount of actual fish oil you get from OxiMega is more than any other brand. I NEVER have fish burps, and have no problems swallowing these as their gel coated. Great for your heart, knees, joins etc.

Proven to Work via Blood Tests
**UPDATE AT BOTTOM**These are really great Omega 3 tablets, with high quality oils and I do feel better when I consistently take them. I don't eat enough fish, so I know I am falling short in this area, so these tablets help make up some of the difference. They are easy to take, with a slight citrus scent and flavor. However, I did experience fishy burps as they digested. I know fishy burps are common when taking a fish oil supplement, especially one of this density and strength. But, I thought it was worth mentioning because they do try to counteract the fishiness with the citrus flavor.I did have better luck when I timed taking them. If I took them a little while before eating a big meal, the burps were less, but they never disappeared completely.I feel the benefits of this supplement far outweigh the issues of fishy burps. This has become my regular fish oil supplement.**UPDATE 5/17/2022**I did want to see if taking this fish oil supplement would actually affect my health. Three months ago I had my blood tested. The blood tests included Omega-3 levels and also hs-CRP, which is a measure of inflammation in the body. When you think of inflammation, don't just think swollen joints or such; think about cardiovascular health, because this inflammation effects arteries, heart disease, and related issues. My initial inflammation measurement (as hs-CRP) was >10. Not good. I took 2 grams of these Omega-3 supplements every day for about 100 days. Now, I did also begin an exercise regimen and cleaned up my diet a bit (no fast food, etc.), but my blood tests after 100 days was a reduction in my hs-CRP numbers by almost 50%, to a 5.4. The measures of the amount of Omega-3 in my system was much higher as well. It's one thing to say that a supplement makes us feel better, but this was actual proof of improved health measurements.

I chose this brand because Labdoor reviews tested it as being particularly low in mercury
I used the Labdoor fish oil rankings to find this brand. I wanted a brand that was measured to have below the lowest unit of mercury they measured (<0.01 PPM). Of those choices I found this one was the cheapest per mg omega-3 and mg EPA+DHA. It has 95% EPA+DHA oils (the ones we are after within the omega-3s), which is tied for the highest I found of the ultra-low mercury options. The daily dose is higher than most brands (1520 mg split into two pills.). I have been taking 1 pill per day instead of two, which is still 760 mg omega-3 with 720 mg of EPA+DHA. From what I found on WebMD (I know, I know, it's like the Wikipedia of medical information.....) in the article "Daily Omega-3s Recommended for Heart" it says "...researchers recommend healthy people consume 500 milligrams daily of EPA plus DHA...." So I'm still getting more than that even at half dose.So basically this is 30 cents a dose, and 15 cents a pill. I'm almost finished my first bottle and about to buy again.I didn't look at every brand on their list at Labdoor. And I think I ignored some which they gave a poor label-accuracy score, even if their corrected label information was still positive.

Slight fish burps but not enough to turn me off
I only gave 4 stars because it says in the product description that it's supposed to be burpless. I burped a slight fish burp just now 20 minutes after taking. It's very slight and mostly citrus. Not enough to turn me off the product. Otherwise they are good. Taking 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening as compared to 2 at once may eliminate the fish burp. Good product.

As I've gotten older I've started having issues with pretty severe joint pain after heavy workouts
As I've gotten older I've started having issues with pretty severe joint pain after heavy workouts. The truth is that my diet isn't the best and I lift much heavier weight than I should which and it was getting to be more than my body could handle. It was especially bad in my shoulder and the way I sleep at night only seemed to make it worse. It got so bad that I couldn't sleep through the night and I hurt all day. I was almost ready to give up working out entirely just to get it to stop. Since I didn't want to do that I did some research on supplements to help and found lots of positive recommendations for controlled labs triad vitamins and fish oil so I decided I would give them a try. Before going to these I was taking the GNC Sport multivitamins and no fish oil. I had tried fish oil in the past but couldn't deal with the fishy burps that came with it and I had given up on it. Fortunately I don't have the same fish burps when taking these.I've been taking these and the controlled labs vitamins for several months now and I'm definitely impressed with the results. The joint pain I was experiencing is gone. I can now actually sleep through the night without waking up in pain from laying on my shoulder and I'm back to doing heavy lifts again with no issues. Since I started taking the fish oil and triad multivitamins at the same time I can't really say for sure which is responsible or if they both help but I suspect the multivitamins is mostly to thank since some of the compounds in it are prescribed to treat joint inflammation and pain. Still I think the fish oil helps and as I said, I don't even get the fish burps with it.
