I switched beds to an older bed I loved. The problem was that the old bed had no supports for the box spring and the mattress itself was very very heavy. I purchased this support system and didn't read the description as well as I should have. This system was for a wood framed bed and mine was iron. Someone from the company called me before the item was shipped to check on this - metal vs. wood. When i told him the bedframe was metal he included extra hardware in the box and explained what I needed to have for the transition from wood to metal and also explained how to do it. Excellent customer service, easy to follow instructions. The support went up in about 1/2 hours and is doing a fine job of supporting what is an extremely heavy box and mattress.Can't say enough good about the product and the customer service! I'd buy it again in an instant!

This is exactly what we needed! If you want it for just a mattress it will not work. You WILL need a box spring! I ordered it online and shortly after maybe the next day, I got a call from the company and he was very nice and asked pertinent questions about my purchase. What size was the bed, is it metal or wood, does it have a headboard and footboard, how tall are the side rails. I ordered the correct one and it came very quickly. We were given the bed without the wooden slats and I was thinking about just getting some wood at the big box store but do not like using the circular saw! This went together very quickly instructions are clear, very sturdy (my husband and I are not small people) and makes the bed feel solid as a rock! I love it and will get others if the need arises!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a solid top notch product that offers superior support for the king size bed I purchased it for. The company calls you to be sure you ordered the right one. Excellent! Everything you need is in the box but the directions are pictures not words so spend an extra minute looking at them to save hassles.

I received an antique brass bed for my guest room. These slats are sturdy, and I was able to adjust their length to fit. I used a drill bit for metal to create holes in the side rails, and then used the bolts and locking nuts to put it together.

Fit perfect on our frame and definitely increased stability! We were using the wooden support that originally came with the frame and it was poor quality. Would recommend 10/10!

The instructions are not very clear when it comes to (correct) placement of each item. When I called the company, I was told to watch a video several times that was of same help as the instructions. After two hours and a second phone call to the company. I finally got an individual to walk me through the installation, to tell me what was wrong! Would not recommend if you don’t like projects!

Once you finally get it setup it is very sturdy, leave at least an hour for setting this thing up though. The directions are nearly useless and you will spend a lot of time shifting parts to get it to all fit together correctly. Provides excellent center support for a king size mattress, our wooden slats used to allow the mattress to bend but this keeps it flat.
