MGW Precision Digital Caliper 150mm/6" DIGE150

I had never seen this good Vernier caliper in my life.Definitely recommended for college students and professionals.Compared to other brands this one is most affordable similar precision of industrial use

It is fairly accurate to a 1/10mm, which works fine for my needs. For the price it is decent value. Build quality is also satisfactory. Whilst it cannot be compared to a Mitutoya in quality and precision, it definitely far cheaper and better than most calipers on Amazon.

I had bought a Chinese make vernier calliper earlier at half the cost of this one and realised what a grave mistake it was. It would show any measurement it liked after crossing 11 cms. This one, by MGW, is miles ahead in comparison.Firstly, the build quality is so much better than the Chinese one. You can tell it the moment you hold it in your hands. Plus, the movement is relatively smooth. It's still not up there with Mitutoyo but they cost 5x this one. The measurements are also reliable. I have checked known component dimensions and there's hardly any error. It also comes in a nice hard case, with a spare battery, a screwdriver for battery replacement, and a calibration certificate.I need reliable and accurate measurements for my projects and this vernier calliper fits the bill nicely without burning a hole in my pocket. Overall, I am really glad that I picked this one. Happy to support an Indian brand too. Definitely recommended !

Comes in a nice case with a mini screwdriver.Built well, minimal play. Digital display has all the necessary conversions and is easy to read. Measurements are also accurate as per expectation.Use it mindfully and it will last you a long time.

I found the calliper very sturdy and accurate with sharp jaws .I opted for this one after returning several other company calliper. One issue was thumb screw rolling like it's loose. Wonder if it's the issue or its just that way with all other callipers.Overall the product is good and value for money.

This vernier already broken. Very worst product zero rating. Please dont buy this product.

We purchased this item after viewing the ratings and price. But we observed variations in accuracy upto 30 micron.Jaws are found defective

Well I didn't need it for thorough accuracy but for some generally accurate measurement.Decently built, but quality of finish or the material used is surely not up to the mark. The thumb roller isn't very smooth, the grooves aren't uniform on the stem. Sliding is not very smooth making adjustments a little difficult and annoying. The packaging inside the storage box is also a bit cheap and doesn't exude quality indicating that it's a well made precision measuring tool. LED display works fine with tact feeling buttons and readable display.Overall, it serves the purpose fine. But much can be improved on the above mentioned aspects. I am not sure of the accuracy though. May be this is what you get at this price point, I don't know.
