GREAT pen for the price
See the first photo for pros and cons. (Ink shown is Monteverde Jade Noir.) I love this pen, but it is a bit "juicy." I liked it so much I ordered two more in the other color variants but haven't inked them yet to see if the nib is any different. It is comfortable to hold both posted and unposted, looks fantastic, and writes like a dream with "just enough" feedback (scratchiness) for my taste. I wish there were more nib choices. Other nibs from other companies might fit it - I haven't tested that yet.

Great pen! A favorite.
Nice smooth ink flow out of the box, no skipping, and the pen seems well machined to tight tolerance. And, after that, maybe it is all personal choice, but, for me, this pen is Really Great. Really Great! it feels very comfortable in the hand, and the weight is just right - it absolutely nails feeling substantial yet balanced and not heavy. and though it is in the 'small pocket pen' category, it does not at all feel too small when writing.Possibly the pen is supposed to be a knock-off of the kaweco sport, or, at least, competing in the same category. in my opinion the lanbitou pen is far superior. the kaweco sport is so very light that it seems cheap and plasticy - i suppose that's a benefit in your pocket, but not nearly so nice to write with. and for me, the kaweco has a little flare at the shoulders, which i find unbearably uncomfortable when writing.Cons: I'm not the biggest fan of the goldness of the clip - the gold seems a little gaudy for this design, some kind of aged finish would be better. and mine is prominently engraved with 'lanbitou 3062' , the branding is subtle but still a tiny bit louder than i'd like. i've seen others pens that i think are the same pen, that are mysteriously engraved 'war and peace.' but, listen, for me, these are very small quibbles. All in all this is a really wonderful pen at a kind of unbelievable price.not sure what the nib is supposed to be, but mine is like a B or even BB - it consumes a lot of ink and lays down a nice thick line.a year on:this pen has really proved itself - it is a top favorite and a great performer! i like this pen more than plenty that are much pricier. under $20, this thing is just a no-brainer, and under $10, scoop them up.i liked it so much that, later, i bought a second one, in silver. the silver turned out to be subtly different -- a much finer nib- more like an F. and the silver has a lot different feel in the hand - a tiny bit slippery, and, i think, it is lighter weight. so, maybe they changed the specs a little on all the pens? , or maybe the silver is different than the bronze? or maybe i am wrong? i dunno. but overall i much prefer the old bronze for the thick nib , heft, and grip. but, these are probably all personal preference-- your mileage may vary... in either event, they both great pens at a tremendous price.

Very Good Dupe
This pretty, coppery, metal fountain pen writes immediately and smoothly —after I initially cleansed it before inking it and using it , of course. The converter that came with it works well.At times, writing with it feels forced, when using Tamoe River paper. However, that’s fine. This is a nice dupe for the Kaweco Sport’s metallic/brass fountain pen (with its bottom also mirroring the Travelers Company’s long bullet-like metal fountain pen). It has a nice and comfortable weight to it too.

Pocket Clip Broke
Nice pen and it writes well but the clip broke as soon as I tried to put it in my pocket. I am not able to carry it on a daily basis as I had hoped to.
