Satisfied dogo
We have a large 30 lb King Charles Cavalier. We have tried several kinds of food since we got him 2.5 years ago. We’ve landed on this Royal Canin weight control because he does not get gas or stomach issues of any type for the past year. We do not want him to gain any weight and this food seems to keep him satisfied.

Good quality.
My French bulldog is very fat, he is almost 3 years old. And he needs to lose weight. When we started giving the dog this food he weighed 38 pounds. That was about a month and a half ago. He now weighs about 36 pounds. We feed him the Strictly Norm form and also add canned rabbit. Our bulldog is very prone to allergies, but this food does not cause allergies, and he eats it with pleasure.

Expensive as Royal Canin usually is but its quality stuff
My dog needed to be on a diet and lose as much as weight as he could for health reasons. I cross referenced a lot of other kibble brands and Royal Canin's Weight Care had the lowest calories of them all. This is important because I am able to feed my dog more kibble which helps him feel full and not starve. He lost the weight quickly (as directed by our vet) with no ill effects and this will most likely be his long term kibble as long as his appetite remains as strong as it is. Transitioning him to this food took a few days but it seemed very digestible and easy on the stomach.

Good dog grub for weight loss if you have spoiled your dog with too many treats.
I gave it 5 stars because my dog is losing weight. On the other hand, or paw, my dog is laying a major guilt trip on me. Personally, I'm still fat.

Black Lab/Border Collie Mix Loves this Food and Lost Weight
Our Black Lab/Border Collie Mix is 4 years old. The vet wanted her to lose 15lbs and recommended this brand food. We are 1/2 way through the largest bag on the market and she has lost weight. She absolutely loves this food!!! No problem with digestion on this. Previously we fed her the weight control dog food from Costco. We also add DynoVite to her diet by sprinkling it on her food with a little water to ensure she is getting extra vitamins though the food along offers ample amounts already for your dog, our girl has some other conditions in which are controlled with the DynoViite. Her coat is very shiny, no more itchy skin, she lost weight, no more tummy growls, and sheds less. We will be buying this food again!

This works
Royal Canin is the ONLY dog food my dog will eat. He will starve before he eats any other food he doesn't like. I thought dogs would eat anything when they got hungry enough. Not this dog. This weight control food works. When we started regular royal canin for our Aussie he started gaining weight due to the high calorie content. Went from 45 lbs to 57 lbs. After using this a full year he is down to 52 lbs. 5 lbs. doesn't sound like a lot. but it is a huge amount percentage wise.We had only been able to find this at the big pet food store in the small 6 lb bags. Well they went up 7$/bag to 25.99$ Two of these smaller bags are the same price as this 30lb bag. Savings are outrageous buying online and it got to the house in 2 days.

Dog loves it, pocketbook not so much
We have a purebred white lab and she was getting a little chubby so the vet recommended this dog food which is owned by Mars and therefore is expensive but the quality is good and she’s in great shape now so it’s worth every penny.

Dog Love It
Our dog had to switch to this cause he gained a bit of weight. He's a super picky eater, but when he finds something he loves it. We did the mixing of his old food and this food, to get him used to it. We looked at his bowl after the first try and he ate all Royal Canin and left the old food in the bowl. So it was an easy transition haha. He really likes it.
