Worked like a charm. My Dyson stick vacuum had a red error light, replaced with this battery and started right up and is charging well. Took less than a minute to change out from watching a simple YT video.

This battery helped my Dyson vacuum come back to life.. It was half the price of the one that Dyson was selling and I’m very glad I went with this product. The instructions were easy to follow, and the battery lasts much longer than my original one that the vacuum came with.

The original new battery that I was sent from Powerextra had a lower capacity than my used Dyson battery!I contacted Powerextra and they quickly sent a replacement. The new battery seems to be much better. Maybe the first battery was from a bad batch? I do appreciate the professional service from this company and how they want to make things right for the customer.Original Review below:I ordered this replacement battery for my Dyson cordless vacuum in December of 2022. The original battery had degraded enough that my wife and I felt it was time for a new battery. I purchased this replacement battery after reading the many positive reviews. Once I installed the new battery, my wife took the vacuum out for a "test drive" and said that the new battery had the same run-time as the old battery! Not what I expected to hear! I decided to continue to use the battery since I had purchased other replacement batteries for laptops and there is a "break-in" process for new lithium-ion batteries. This involves charging the new battery to 100%, then discharging it to 10% and repeating this process a few times. Well, this didn't work and the capacity of the replacement battery remained poor. Beware!

So far, so good! I bought a different one from another company that was supposed to run longer per charge, but it wouldn't start the Dyson unless you squeezed the trigger 10-12 times. I should have returned it but I delayed to long, which is why I bought this one. It works the first time I squeeze the trigger everytime. So far very happy and satisfied. I will recommend this battery.

I should have returned this product immediately but I failed to. The battery only lasted minutes before it slowed down and stopped. When I plugged it in the power showed it charged up to 3 dots but never lasted very long. Now when I plug it in the lights are red and it doesn't seem to be holding the charge at all. I am very disappointed.

When the battery on my Dyson stick vac reached the end of its life I almost threw the whole thing away. A factory replacement battery is crazy expensive and not the kind of investment I’m interested in making on a 5 year old appliance. Fortunately I found a much cheaper alternative that works every bit as well as the original one. Easy to install, just a few screws, and after a full charge it was good as brand new.
