Very cool and very bright
It took a little while to learn how the function button works but this is a powerful flashlight!

Charge time is too long, but it’s overall ok
It’s alright. I think the charge time is way too long. The brightness is pretty good for its size. The mode selector is annoying. You have to cycle the brightness every time you click it on, and it doesn’t save the memory of what brightness you chose last time. Pretty dumb it can’t do that.

Great Quality. Not Cheap, but worth it.
Best Medium-sized flashlight around. Bright light, VERY well built. Good customer service from Ledlenser. Fairly rapid recharge. Does require a proprietary charging cable

P7R range.. Bright torches, but are they worth the price?
As I’m now the owner of all three P7R torches, the core, original and signature, I have compared these side by side and I have to say I’m shocked. The original is advertised as 1000 lumens, core 1400 lumens and the p7r signature 2000 lumens. They are all still available for $99, $49 and $149 respectively. Brightness wise after fully charging there is no contest, The original torch is the brightest, but you have to realise that after a 10 minutes of use the original torch does dim maybe due to heating and needs turning off and on again to return to full brightness. So if you will use this for extended periods then the others might be better options. The new design is thinner than the original so people with larger hands may not like the new design, the focus is not as smooth on the new design as the original, which can be done quicker and easier with one hand. The p7r core is great value at $50 and whilst noticeable less bright than the other two does not meet the advertised brightness probably by 50%. The p7r signature comes with accessories like a holster and charging dock ( the core is the only one without the charging dock) personally I think the original has the easiest charging mechanism. Especially when used not in the dock. The signature does come with some additional features over the other two, a red light for hunting, a strobe presumably for raving and other flashing modes that include an sos. But the fact this torch is not twice as bright as my 7 year old torch, for the price is a deal breaker and the brightness quite frankly false advertising. Unless you are hunting avoid the signature, the original has been a brilliant touch even with the dimming is still working perfectly and looks like new so it’s built to last, the core performs well for the money so if I knew what I know now I would choose the original, I prefer the thicker handle, charging method and brightness for short term use. The core comes second, great value. But 50% the brightness advertised and the signature comes last is also 50% of the brightness advertised, has features some will review useful but otherwise overpriced probably worth $99 imo.7 years and not improvement in brightness, come on ledlenser team you have to do better. Love your original torch, but the new ones are a let down and noone appreciates false advertising.

Good flashlight
This is my third Ledlenser flashlight so it’s fair to say I’m a bit of a fan. This one feels slightly less solid than the older two but is still far more substantial than most others. I appreciate the extended 7 year warranty that you get with Ledlenser flashlights.
