This thing is designed for motorcycles
This thing is stinking strong. I’ve never really used a phone mount before in my life despite these last two years up here in Ohio. The roads are so rough that I’ve literally caught my phone under my rear tire in a hard braking that occurred due to the prior phone mount dropping my phone. Wish I had pics to show the carnage to that phone case, but I’m sorry to say that I was so pissed that I didn’t capture the memory to film. This ram mount absolutely blows everything else out of the water. Although I’ve only ever used six different phone mounts on my bicycle. There was one that I found at a walmart that had a rubber or silicone type of webbing that loops around each corner of the phone. But why I didn’t like that was that I really like to be able to rapidly grab my phone so I can shoot pics. This ram mount system provides that out of the box, the supplemental webbing system in tandem to the spider like leg grips. I’ve only ridden twice with the Ram, but I’ve yet to feel it’s necessary to use the webbing addition. I would guess that dirt bike riders might opt into that layer of protection, but I rarely get much over fifteen or seventeen miles per hour because my little Australian Shepard girl is ALWAYS next to me on my bike. Anyhow, long story short, if you ever come across any kind of questionable terrain under your tires regardless of your means of transportation, save yourself some time money effort and concern. Buy the ram mount system. It doesn’t come with the handlebar mount. Which requires the one inch ball to be received to the socket that it does come with. But I found one after market that’s not the name brand very easily effortlessly and quickly for like fifteen bucks. Bringing the entirety of the mounting system to sixty five dollars before tax. I’m over joyed with it and plan on buying my wifey one for her bike. Heck, I like them so much that if I find out my little brother gets into bicycling I’ll buy him one and one for his wife also. Even though I don’t care for his wife at all. Anyhow, social interaction is stressful. So I hope somebody gets a sliver help from my rambling. lol. Ciao.

Great phone mount
Doesn't vibrate, easy to use, adjustable fit works well for phone mounts. Excellent grip.

As sturdy as it gets
This thing just works. I have this mounted on two of my motorcycles to use as my phone mount and have never had an issue with them. They’re extremely stable and keeps my phone set at speeds up to 190mph (speed limits and closed courses only of course) as well as all the turns in the world. I have friends who have used some of the other popular phone mounts for motorcycles and they have lost their phones at one time or another, but that has never been my case with a ram mounted one.

Nice product, though a deeper fit would be nice
I used this a whole season last year and it worked great, no problems with it damaging my phone or anything of the kind. Holds on great even at high freeway speeds and bad side road bumps. My phone has a bit of a thicker case, so it takes a second to make sure it’s in properly, and I didn’t notice it being only half in once until I was on the freeway for a few minutes. It was flopping around a bit, but the rubber had enough grip to keep me from losing my phone.

Good grip.
With thousands of miles of riding, both on and off road, this phone holder is still going strong. It has not dropped my phone a single time.

Holds it all on well. Use the silicone retainer.
The RAM mount is solid and adjustable. The X grip is handy, but tends to interfere with phone controls. Be sure to deactivate certain "emergency call" features in your phone if it does this.I would not be apt to trust the spring force and soft heads of the X grip alone with the security of my phone, so I do use the silicone retention loops to make sure it doesn't go anywhere. That part is a little bit of a fuss, but for long rides it's hardly a bother. Also it doesn't interfere with a charging cable.

Holds my phone while ATVing!
So for starters: I have a Samsung Galaxy Note10 (NOT plus) and I mounted this item with small/shallow self-tapping screws on a flush surface (bought that piece separately) on my 2022 Polaris Sportsman.I was pretty skeptical that this would keep my phone tight in place while trail riding in northern New Hampshire... So far this summer the thing hasn't budged! I have it mounted on the front panel of my machine (photo included) and I will occasionally use the "extra protection" rubber spider thing with it, but I honestly haven't needed it near as much as I thought I would, as my phone does not move! It's awesome to be able to grab it when I run into vistas or bears on the trail for quick photos- although I would say it requires two hands to remove, that's a non issue for me, I'm happier that I haven't sent my phone flying on the trails! The only single drawback, which speaks to the strength of the grasp, is that if you land one of the arms on a button- your side Bixby button or a volume button- it will press and hold that button. If you don't line it up to land between the side buttons it CAN cause your battery to drain faster.Very impressed and very happy with the quality for the price!
