Great For Detail Work
I've picked up some new hobbies, including diamond painting & miniature models in the past few years. But being an older person, small print & small detailed items are harder to see. I don't wear readers so this is really just age related. I don't want to give up my hobbies so I needed a solution. My brother had gotten this for tying fishing lines & lures so I tried his. It's exactly what I needed. I love that there are multiple lenses to choose from and that you can combine them, depending on your need. The light let's me target the area I'm working on, instead of using clip on lights that constantly need to be repositioned. I can now work faster because I'm not squinting to see! Came charged and I was able to use it for about 5 hours before the light seemed dimmer, which is when I plugged it in. Charged super fast & I was back to work quickly. Headband adjustment is way to use and a handy feature. Really glad my brother found this and that I bought my own.

If you are looking for a headband magnifier, look no further.
This seller checks all the boxes. Shipping could not have been faster, item arrived well packaged and undamaged.the magnifier was exactly as advertised, functions perfectly and was less expensive than comparable models.

My 2 cents on the magnifier.
I like the magnifying lens, however, I wish it was interchangeable from right to left side. So unless I can drill a hole or glue it to the other side of the magnifier it does me no good.

Better quality control - charging cord didn't work, but nice product otherwise.
Charging cord doesn't work.. but I love all the different lenses. The adjustment on the back is really cool and I like that it doesn't FALL ON MY NOSE like my last one did. The recharging feature is nice (and since I had cords that work with it, I'm going to keep it), but the seller should do a better quality-control check on the charging cords. All in all, it's pretty neat. I paint on some pretty tiny statuettes, so this made it so nice to see what I was doing and the lenses change out sooooo easy!

Poorly designed and has QC issues
Pros:The light is bright. Despite other reviewers having trouble accessing the batteries, I found the battery compartment easy to remove (rotate the light housing all the way forward as though you want to point the light down, then pull up on the back of the housing as though you want to rotate it even more, and you will hear and feel the unit snap free; then lift straight up and out). Lenses are easy to change.Cons:The lens/light assembly hangs too low if you try to wear the headband somewhat snugly around your head and across your forehead, like a hat, which is the natural way most people will want to wear it. This puts the position of the lens well below the level of your eyes, forcing you to look down to sight through the center of the lenses. In order to raise the lens/light assembly high enough to get the lenses to eye level, most people with a normally shaped head will have to tighten up the band so that it sits lightly (but not snugly) on the crown of the head and mostly off the forehead. The problem here is that even once you adjust the band to the right size, when you put it on it's only resting on your head instead of fitting snugly around it. This means it doesn't naturally just go on in the right position: you have to move it around to get it sit where it should and it's too easily moved out of that position if you bump it. It can also easily fall off your head if you lean too far forward, as to pick something up that you dropped. You might think that you can just pivot the adjustable lens/light assembly up far enough to raise the lens, but this then forces the light to aim too far up, and you can't get it to focus on your work. The idea of lenses that adjust forward and back is nice, but there's not enough travel unless you have a really tiny nose. Normal noses will require the thing to be pushed almost all the way out, so it's a useless feature for most. The 2.0x and 2.5x lenses are identical, as far as I can tell, even though they are marked as 2.0 and 2.5. There is no visible difference in magnification between them, and their thicknesses are within 0.2 mm of each other.Bottom line: I can't recommend this magnifier. It's not well designed. It doesn't just "snap" into the correct position when you put it on; it requires moving the whole thing around the head to get it to align correctly with the eyes, and can easily get moved out of position. It also has added complications that don't bring any benefit, and the quality control of the lenses is suspect.
