Bought to replace a much-loved but no-name brand I'd owned for years. It's sharp out-of-the-box, nicely weighted at the handle end, and really, nicely sharp. Does everything you need a small kitchen knife to do, and amazingly cheap. A great everyday knife.

I bought this knife to replace a Sabatier knife in a set I bought from John Lewis but where the knife cracked when I put it in the dishwasher. (Instructions said it was dishwasher safe, although did advise knives may tarnish. But that is a different story).Yes, this is not a Sabatier knife but bar the different logo this is almost identical to my broken knife and fits perfectly in my existing knife block. It is very sharp and makes that satisfying ping noise if you flick it with your fingernail. From the packaging there is no advice on whether it is dishwasher safe but I won't be dishwashing it.

Slices thru raw veggies just like if they’re cooked, so no sawing action necessary thankfully. Handles raw meat just as easy as if was cooked… so one has to be extremely careful with this knife because it’s so sharp it would easily cut thru boneSuch a lovely knife I’m so glad that I bought it, light to hold with an amazing price tag.Dishwasher safe, but quick and easy to wash by hand and doesn’t take long to dry.

Good value knife for cutting up vegetables. I'm not an expert in the kitchen but this knife is like a razor.

For £6 this was a value purchase. Its a weighty handle and solid blade (all one piece). Very sharp indeed.
