This works great on brakes but isn't why I purchased this one. That's hubby's department. I'm using it to vaccum seal dry pasta, candy, dehydrated fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds for longer and fresher storage in my pantry. Open take out what I need out of half gallon jar and revacumm seal. All you need is the attachment for regular mouth and wide mouth jars.I purchased that from Amazon Also.

Used this to bleed brakes and clutch on my Goldwing. Outstanding.

The vacuum pump works great and the hoses and connectors are of reasonable quality. The problem I had was that the canister lid is too loose. Once you get some brake fluid on it and it gets slippery it will keep turning and not hold vacuum. I ended up using a mason jar and making my own with the provided hoses and vacuum pump.

Will use it eventually. When weather cools off.But I think it will do the job nicely.
