When I tell you, I can hear my husband‘s watch ticking, even though it’s in the drawer in the guest room, I’m serious. This super hearing is an ADHD, anxiety, irritability, superpower! If only I could harness it to figure out why my car is making that noise. Or save someone trapped under rumble…. I do not hear this clock in my bedroom when I am going to bed, when I am reading before bed, when I am staring at the ceiling because I cannot sleep, in the morning when everything is super quiet. It’s SOOOOO great. And affordable!!! Thank yooooou!

The clock I received is a nice looking, quiet, and the second hand moves smoothly. I have had it for a while, and it remains a good basic clock. However, it loses time as the battery depletes. The smooth second hand doesn't begin to struggle at some points like its non-smooth counterparts on the market: It keeps on with its smooth motion until the battery is almost completely dead. You don't notice it is slowly losing time until you... notice the time is wrong. That is my only complaint about this clock.Using good *quality* new batteries, it should run well for many months and perhaps years on that single battery; Mine ran for 16 months before I needed to change it. I would recommend putting in a fresh new battery every year or so, even if the one in it still has life left.
