After giving up on an expensive V-Tech model that would lose Wi-Fi connection and then just died, we settled on this cheaper alternative to work with a google nest.It worked straight out of the box. Audio is great. Camera isn’t wide angle but when placed correctly it’s fine. No Wi-Fi setup, direct connection only means stable and instant feed. Distance wasn’t an issue across the other side of the house.The screen is pretty small but as a companion to a nest camera (that can drop out and in) it’s great. Temperature reading was maybe off by 1 degree but again compared to the expensive V-Tech model it was much better.Defo recommend if you just want something that works.

Have just put in for a return of this item after one night, got this to replace another monitor that we’ve had for 2+ years. First thing I noticed was the camera was so zoomed in that I had to change the entire set up in my LO’s room to have it at a distance that captured her entire bed, I honestly don’t know how I’d have made it work on a baby’s cot without using an extension cable and sticking it to the roof. In night mode the picture is low quality, and laggy, there is no remote pan and tilt from what I can see, which at time of writing this review is advertised for the product, along with HD streaming on the app, which I’m pretty sure now isn’t a feature on this device even though it is advertised, and a review mentions it. I couldn’t get the pair button on either camera to do anything and I couldn’t find anything on the app for the “view” version. I was really hopeful for this product for something at this price point with good reviews, but unless my unit was faulty I really don’t see how so many people are loving it. I wish I could post pictures to show but for privacy I don’t want my LO’s room online, but I’d highly suggest looking for an unbiased review or something before purchase, becuase for us it really wasn’t fit for purpose and caused more hassle than it needed to.

Bought this because of the split screen. Not that many on the market. But other than that it’s not that good really. Firstly, you cannot stream video via the app. I don’t know why they’ve included this on the details. This camera does not support that.Secondly, this is SO zoomed in it’s ridiculously hard to place in the room. So we put it further away, but the picture quality isn’t very good so this means you can’t see clearly. Really disappointed with the picture. Narrow view too which is annoying. (The Spear & Jackson baby monitor has an excellent picture and large screen and is reasonably priced)You can’t seem to control the volume? Makes an annoying buzzing sound as well.Really does need a lot of improving.

Great price and works very well. I use it on a stand and it fits perfectly. Picture quality and sound is very good! Would highly recommend this product:

The concept of this monitor is great, a dual screen with 2 cameras is just what I needed. However, the picture quality is shocking. There is also a delay with the sound and movement buy about 2 seconds. I'm so disappointed with this product. I would not recommend it at all.

I love how it tells the room temperate on it and the night time camera is decent quality. The daytime coloured video quality isn’t the best but I can see my baby ok and talk to her through the monitor. The sound is a few seconds delayed

Picture quality is awful, everything becomes very grainy and pixelated as soon as you zoom at all and is used in night mode,I can barely make out my child in his bed which completely defeats the purpose of having a monitor. My youngest will be moving into his own room soon and I will have to purchase a different monitor to comfortably ensure I can see him throughout the night.

Other video monitors seem to lose signal all the time but this one has excellent range. Only downside is not great battery life but you’re rarely far from a plug.
