Height of time is about 4-1/2 inches: helpful when reading from across the room! With fresh batteries inserted in the proper direction, one may have to wait for one of the times during the day when the atomic-clock signal goes out. Might be the next morning. Place near an exterior wall and the clock will set itself: time, day, date, temperature. Be sure to set time zone on the back of the clock beforehand. Very confusing instructions accompany, so letting the clock set itself works best.

This has been a great addition to my family command center that I got one for in my office. The back light is so nice. It makes so you can see the clock when all the lights are off.

Very pleased with the click. I wish it had back lighting

Bought about a year ago. Initially was impressed with the size of the numbers and the backlight. However very hard to set. I could never get the day of the week to come up right. That was not a reason to send back however. Then when the time changed the first time it did it perfectly. The next time in the fall it did not so don't know why the atomic feature did not advance it. I had to manually set which is a pain. The buttons don't work for setting like the instructions tell you. However now is when I really got upset because I had to change the batteries. I have them in correctly but I can not change the time. Tried to do the 3 seconds using the -/C/F to force it to reset. Does nothing but blink the default time 12:00. It did not do it after that so did a reset. Nope nothing wants to change. Horrible purchase and way to long out to get a refund or send back. I wanted to use it as an alarm clock but it was so hard to set I decided I could not trust it.

….. love it because it’s easy to change time zones as we venture east to west coast, then back east.The backlighting is perfect. Not too bright, not too dim. Easy to view from the drivers seat as we are putting down miles.Hopefully it lasts. Happy camper, literally.

Batteries are included with the clock. Highly favored by memory care unit of our facility.
