These are good, safe box cutters that are very practical and come in handy often for opening boxes in our kitchen. Work very well for opening.

Much safer than your average box cutter. Very durable and good size.

These are more suited for home use. They are frail compared to the industrial ones used at work. We needed them to open moving boxes. I felt they were safer than all my friends and family using box knives. They accomplished the job. All 5 survived move in day.

Good for elementary school students to use on cardboard - sharp and safe. Only down side is sometimes cardboard gets caught in the slot and it is hard to get unstuck. Already purchased more though because they generally work well and are safe.

This has several functions which I didn't realize at first. I was using the blade part. Then I noticed on the flat side it has a small plastic nub. The nub can be run along the tape of a box to break the tape without penetrating deep enough to damage the contents of the box.It comes in a package of 6 which is good because the blade eventually gets dull. I also gave one to my neighbor to try out.

It actually cuts much better than the ones supplied at my work. Has safety guards so you can't accidently cut yourself, and fits on a lanyard ring.

Works well on light plastic but stronger banding, that is still plastic, caused one to break away
