Got the job done when I needed a thermostatic mixing valve pronto
The existing mixing valve on my water heater failed, and no stores in the greater Seattle Area carried one (quick aside-- are you kidding me?). Ordered this on next-day delivery after worrying if it'd fit, but it was a 1:1 match. Slotted in perfectly. Pain to install, but the blame for that really falls on the plumber who set up my water heater, not on the manufacturer.

Very easy to adjust
I had tried to purchase Honeywell thermostatic mixing valve. I believe I ordered two different styles from Amazon. None were as listed. None. I finally ordered this valve. Since we were using PEX, had to sweat PEX fittings on which made for a much longer valve assembly. Water heater is set for 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Mixing valve arrived preset to 120 degrees. By the time water reached point of use it was not as hot as some users wanted. Just like opening a sink faucet, gentle turn of the valve alters the regulated temperature.Note: If this valve is user accessible it can be set to dangerously hot temperature very easily.

This valve is being used to keep my in floor heat at a lower temp
I did not know if it would work, But realized by hooking the supply to the inlet of the exchanger and the cold of valve I did not have a pressure drop so the valve can work. It seams to have enough flow. Hope this is helpful.

3/4" sweat to small
The sweat joints are way too small for my standard 3/4" copper pipe. I tried the copper pipe with other fittings and they fit. I measured 1/32" difference between the Temlock ID and the pipe OD. Way too much to sand off. Useless.
