Workaround for short shelf life
If you do cold soba noodles with dipping sauce, this Kikkoman Tsuyu is the one. But it says on the bottle, "Refrigerate and use within three days of opening," and the website also makes that clear. So what I do is dump into an ice tray and make little Soba Tsuyu icecubes, and keep them in a little plastic box at 0-degrees F. Works fine, but don't let the little box tump over, or a bit of something will run out in your freezer anyway.

Kikkoman Tsuyu Soba - Perfect Dipping (or "sprinkling") Sauce for Noodles
Kikkoman's Tsuyu Soba is THE dipping sauce for noodles, especially for Korean or Japanese buckwheat & yam noodles. It is most often used on cold noodles but is also very tasty on hot noodles served as a side dish and just "kissed" in a hot wok. I keep a few ounces in a small squeeze-top bottle which will deliver sprinkled drops or a narrow stream of sauce. If you cook Japanese or Korean dishes, this should be a staple in your kitchen. The taste is not easy to describe, but I would say it has the dark core of soy sauce with a slightly sweet, light edge.

Bas
The product was smashed in the box. Funny, though the box was intact and undamaged.
