Works very well.
Used many times, very good at instantly stopping bleeds from razor nicks.

Does the job
A bit like super glue holds the nick together like glue it leaves you itching to pick it off

much better than the stick option
I, like most people using open blades, eventually cut yourself and having something other than tissue to stem the blood and praying for the hemostasis to kick in. Previously had a dab on stick thing presumably using the same chemicals, which just became disgusting on the end of the stick! This gel option allows an individual dab to be added to your skin and hey-presto.

Works for me
I've only just started shaving in a grown-up manner (I'm only 76), thanks to discovering The Chap's Guide on youtube, and jumped in with Proraso products as a starting point. Might stay with them. This item is great and despite having to take an NHS prescribed blood thinner which means I'm a big bleeder! when cut, this gel actually works. For me it is better than a styptic pencil and an alum block. I can only speak as I find. Peter

Nice idea but not the best
Used this a couple of times, once for shaving and once for stemming a finger blood loss due to kitten assistance in tying boot laces. It does help to stop the blood leaving your body, but it does also leave an unsightly white area.I'll stick to styptic pens and or little bits of tissue.

Great for cuts, on animals too as a last resort!!
Bought 2 of these, the price was significantly cheaper than the first one of these I ordered from a dedicated shaving site at the timeTo be honest, I've only needed to use the original one myself on a couple of occasions, and it does work well, but hopefully I'll continue to rarely need itHowever, where it proved super effective for me, was a mini drama when my partner was cutting the dogs dew claw nail and cut too far, drawing blood, going everywhere. The home remedy options of corn flour and such that she had been trying weren't working at all after multiple attempts, so soon as she informed me I reached for this straight away, and it fixed the problem almost immediately in comparisonI'm sure its technically not approved for pet use, but as a styptic pen alternative it worked superb, so opted for a couple of spares, one for self, one for med cabinet/pet emergency and one for son as he enters his new world of shaving regime
