It works
I have tested it for the first time in my small pottery kiln, up to cone 03 and it registered as 1097 centigrade, about right. Very good value for money.

Good quality for a adequate price
Good device, works fine and as suppose. Quite fast reading speed. However the smell of plastic or what is smells just weird. Another annoying point, is a traces of anti-shock cover on the plastic body of device. Anyway, no complains for a work, I would give 4.5 stars if I could, -0.5 just because of aesthetic side.

Good but slightly flawed for balancing radiators
Like a lot of folks reviewing this product, I bought this (along with a pair of pipe clamp probes) to help me balancing radiators in my central heating system and, like others, I've discovered a weird issue where on most of my radiators, connecting the second probe to the pipework causes a drastic and immediate change to the temperature registered on the first probe. Removing the second probe allows the first to return to its original reading. You just have to be wary of this if using this device for this purpose and work around it. It just makes the "dual channel" aspect of this unit less useful.

Good value, clear screen, calibration's a wee bit off.
Nice, good for checking liquids, surfaces and ambient temeratures that a DIYer like me might encounter (so far). Reads about 0.9 deg C low at 37 deg compared to a decent medical thermometer. The main reason I suspect that it's a bargain is no rigid housing for the thermocouple tip, but that's offset by having a spare in the box. Fingers crossed it'll be reliable.

Can measure diferrence of water temperature in boiler pipes
I used cable ties to secure the bare sensors to my boiler flow and return pipes to get a good thermal contact. One of the flow pipes needs to be insulated with a thin plastic tape to avoid shorting and getting inaccurate readings. Response time is about five to ten seconds when boiler flow water changes temperature. A single press of the on/off button displays the two pipe temperatures. Use these to calculate the difference between flow and return pipes. If you operate a low temperature boiler - say 52 Deg C then the temperature difference (delta) is usually about 5 Deg C i.e return temperature is lower. In my experience this is efficient. The Prosser often shows an outflow temperature a bit lower than the boiler is indicating. The LCD illuminates for a few seconds when button is pressed then light goes off but reading still shows - you'll probably need a flashlight if the Prosser is in a dark place.
