Q: i wonder if this would work for cactus? or does it have a big gap

I do think it would work for a cactus; the gap wouldn’t be a factor because the blades are offset just a bit to allow the peel through it. Best for large-diameter stuff though, for a smaller cactus you’d be better off with a more standard peeler. It’s my go-to for pumpkins!
