It looks just like the photo. I am 83 and had no trouble putting it together, albeit I shouldn't have done it it the kitchen. Not enough room to lay it out so I had room to walk. I can't speak to its endurance, since I assempled it several months ago and it has been outside through snow, rain and sun. Grading evaluation (via a former teacher): Neutral color A, Sturdiness A, Bag hold C, Dog Protection (for what not sure as I don"t have a dog), but where I have it located between potting table and BBQ I think only a very determined dog would try to help themselves of food scraps IF I were to use it for that. I'd be more concerned about deer so would not put food scraps in it anyway, so grade A for functionality. Regarding the Bag Hold grade (C), I think mfgrer should consider that not many will subscribe to your brand of bags so might consider ways to hang drawstring kitchen bags. I "gerryrigged" my afore mentioned bag type using large binder clips and brought the drawstring around the lid. Also, If you live in a windy climate as I do, I dropped some 8" X 8" floor tiles in the bottom for extra weight. A manufacturer wouldn't want the extra weight in shipping charges. Write your name on the inside so if it blows away, your good neighbor might bring it back, or the not-so-good neighbor might hide it in their garage or basement. We have enough wind gusts at 50 mph, especailly overnight to early morning so I added more weight and keep it between two hardy windbreakers. Would love to send photos but the process is not user friendly. I'm a drag and drop from my iPhone kind of person.

This is the trash can I didn’t know I needed. I ordered the dark taupe and put it together in no time. Amazon’s 30 gallon trash bags fit in well and are not super expensive. It’s easy to clean if dirt or water spills on it and looks nice on the porch. Trash day has become less of a hassle…no more waking up to torn trash bags caused by the squirrels that are constantly about looking for food. Filled up it isn’t so hard to lift, I don’t need to rely on someone to remember to take it out. I really should have bought this long ago. But, I’m so happy I have it now.

This has been great to have on our back patio. We keep it lined with a trash bag and change it out when we need to. The lid is great and stays on well. We’ve never had our dog be able to get into it. It looks good and it has stayed in great shape. Very pleased with this purchase!

I purchased this because of the lid on it. I love this trash can for my kitchen. Hard to pull apart, my daughter didn't put it together so it sits on the bottom. Outside of that, this is quality, holds more trash than most kitchen trash cans, the lid functions better than the step on trash cans with flip top (ive been through 2 in 2 months because of breakage) i am thinking about another for recycling.

Used as a "meter cover" to shield outdoor gas meter. Snap together feature was detrimental as multiple "try" efforts were required to make things fit. Would have preferred a a nut & bolt or screw fasteners.

Absolutely love this trash can. I use it as an indoor kitchen garbage can and it’s perfect. The grey matches my cabinets perfectly and the size is perfect when you don’t want to keep throwing out the trash often. This lasts longer. Good buy. Easy to put together and I buy size 39 gallon trash bags for it. Lasts a while before being completely full.

Honestly use this for the kitchen for about 5 years. . If you have a big family it holds 33 gallons garbage bags. Save money in the White kitchen bags. The can has a lid that locks so my dogs can’t hit into the trash.

Perfect size for an outdoor trash can next to area where people can relax and enjoy the outdoors. I love the lid lock. This holds a lot of trash! I haven't noticed it smelling bad. You can easily spray off with a water hose if it gets dirty. It is expensive but I really am glad I bought this.
