Expected smaller unit, but works fine. Simple plug and play installation. No effect on resolution.

Plug and play. One thing I missed from the product description was the fact that it requires USB power to operate. It works easily to convert HDMI to DP with perfect picture quality, and the price is a good value.

Did not work. Trying to go HDMI out of computer to a display port monitor and can not get it to work with this device

I bought a used Smsung monitor not realizing that it required this kind of adapter. It works as expected with my old (10 years?) Toshiba laptop running Windows 7. The plugs are a little clunky and having a separate power cord (I have mine plugged into a 5V charger to save USB port space) makes it more so, but I assume other brands would have the same issue. Like everything else, once you have it set up and it's working, it's mission accomplished, albeit a little messy looking.

Exactly what I needed. Tried others and this one is much better. Connects my hdmi switched to my display port output to my tv in 4k at 60hz no problem.

I’m not sure if it’s the display port cable or the the adapter itself but it’s not converting my ps5 to 120 hz like it was when i first bought it. It also gets very hot when using it idk if that’s normal or not.
