I adore this crochet set! After nearly a year of crocheting, I realized that my initial starter set just wasn’t meeting my needs anymore. It was time for an upgrade to something more advanced, and I believed this set would be perfect for me. One of the standout features is the built-in light, which is incredibly helpful because I’m a night owl and often find myself crocheting late into the evening.Let me start by mentioning that after I purchased the set, it sat untouched for a little while since I was in the middle of another project. I’ve always thought it’s bad luck to switch hooks while working on something, so I resisted the temptation. When I finally opened the box, I discovered that it lacked a crochet base, which was a bit disheartening at first. However, I decided to focus on the hooks themselves to see if I liked their design. To my delight, I loved the way they felt in my hands. They were smooth with no ridges or bumps, which made the wait worthwhile!Within less than 24 hours, I received a second set, and I was completely smitten. Crocheting with these hooks was an absolute dream. The experience was fast and effortless; the handle that I initially thought I’d need to adjust to felt perfectly comfortable within moments. It genuinely reminded me of the satisfying ease you get when you open a fresh tub of butter and scoop it out with a knife—there was no catching or pulling involved! The hooks glided effortlessly through the yarn, and they felt incredibly nice to hold. I couldn't be happier with my choice!Best purchase I have made for crochet!

Great set of crochet hooks. It’s so much easier to see what you’re doing. Easy to change hook sizes.

I really like these. The only issue is they don't line up right and sometimes I can't catch the yarn right. I have to adjust how I am holding the hook for the yarn to glide through right.

Everything seems to be working great, as we can all see my only issue is there’s just a slight typo in the instructions lol.

This set is great, it has sizes 2.5 all the way up to a size 14 hook. I like the way the hook feels in my hand it's very comfortable and easy to maneuver. One thing I found hilarious is they apparently didnt proof read the instructions and instead of "until you hear a click" they put "until you hear a dick" I definitely got a laugh out of it. Not sure how they missed that.

Nice grip. Comortable to use for the most part. The light is decent and seems to last awhile. I have not had to charge it again yet. I so far I have one used 3 of the 17 bits, 4.5, 5.0, and 5.5The 5.0 bit is a loose fit and wiggles in the socket of the lighthandle. While using it in practice, it unscrewed itself and fell out 3 times before I finally switched to the 4.5 bit. The 4.5 bit locked securely into place and is a snug fit. Did not fall out once while I was using it. 5.5, and 4.5 and lower are all this nice snug, secure fit. But just putting all the bits into the socket to see how they fit, 5.0, 6.0, and 8.0 to the biggest size all have the loose fit, wiggy issue. 8 of the 17 bits are nice to use. 9 of the 17 bits fall out while using them. Idk if I got a faulty set, or if this is how they all are, but this is my experience. I finished one project with the 4.5, and the 5.5, and the grip and length of the handle was very nice and easy to use. I just can't use more than half of the bits🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

This is a great kit to add to your lot of crochet hooks. I have been wanting to try the light up hooks for a while and I am happy with the purchase. The case seems to be made very well just like the hooks. I have had no issues using them. I am glad that I ordered this for the times I want to crochet but not bother anyone in my house during a movie night.

Light is okay, it doesn’t show the brightness accurately in the photos so be aware that it’s a bit dimmer than shown, especially the 6th photo with the second light level. I like it and won’t be returning it, but for the price you are mostly paying for the light function, not for the quality of the hooks.In the third photo where the clear hook is attached you can see that a bump sticks out at the base where it attaches to the handle. Not my favorite hook design choice as the yarn gets stuck there sometimes when crocheting, but you get used to not pushing/pulling the yarn that far. With practice it works fine.Crocheting in pitch black can still be tricky even with this product but during car rides or dim lights it functions well.As a side not I previously ordered the used version to try to save some money but DO NOT buy the used version as it is missing the most used hook sizes like the ones around 5mm, and the hook handle itself was broken. The gap in the second photo was way bigger and I was afraid if I tightened the hook on more it would break off. You are better off paying for a new one.
