This is my first experience with tallow and this soap is amazing. Leathers well and is so gentle on the skin. Obviously made with a lot of love and care.When I researched into other products that have tallow, it seemed like quite a few customers complain about the smell. Not an issue with this soap. My son smelled it and said it smells like an old-fashioned (in a good way), hand-made soap. I have a very sensitive nose and at times I can smell a tiny bit of the top quality beef broth. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that for me. If I enjoy eating something, I can definitely tolerate it on my skin. And even so, this smell is very light and goes away in seconds. These soaps are made of triple-rendered tallow and I know that such rendering makes tallow very clean and with no to little scent.

I’ve been using this organic beef tallow soap for a little while now. I should have known not to trust a product that doesn’t list all the ingredients. Beef tallow is the FOURTH of way too many ingredients! And the Yuka app doesn’t recognize. And it’s made in China! Use with caution!

Its formula is gentle and effective, and it is very friendly to my sensitive skin. After using it, my skin feels clean, refreshed and soft without any tightness. I feel that it will last longer than the soaps I used before, because I have been using it for almost two weeks and the soap is still in good form and has not dissolved much. I will repurchase it again.

This soap is individually wrapped so that you don't have to leave one hanging open while you are using the first bar. The first ingredient is an unspecified solution which I wasn't too sure about. I don't use this on my face but it's great on my hands.
