Excellent
It is excellent in what it does. The finish may be a love and hate thing: it feels like an epoxy and has shine. Left alone some people will love it and some will hate it but it is an excellent rust converter beyond any doubts and the end result will last - you may need a few applications to achieve the aim and it is expensive.

Easy to use spray
It certainly whent on ok but did affect the old paint. But after a second coat and primer I could rub it down ant it looked good. As I said it whent on easy and it certainly does something to the rust and metal all whent black. Only time will tell if it keeps the dreded rust away.

The BEST rust converter you can buy.
If you've never tried this, it sprays like a VERY fine (very low viscosity) primer and it goes on clear, but as soon as it finds rust you start to see the black colour appear in the coating. It'll turn completely to a shiny blue-black colour wherever it finds rust (it's 7-10 times more penetrating than other rust converters). You have to wait 24 hours between coats and you don't have to sand in between - after 24 hours the coating is still tacky to take the next coat. Then leave it a couple of days at least to harden and then you can key and put another primer layer on of your choice, or a topcoat. It's very easy to get through with wet and dry, so keying should be done carefully. Even if you do go through it, given it's the best rust converter available it's probably still worth using as the bare metal you expose will have NO rust in it. As you're keying it, you're probably going to go straight over with a top-coat friendly primer anyway. The ultimate rust proofing and rust conversion process it to remove all loose rust flakes, getting down to a "ground ginger" surface (just powdery rust left). Wipe as much of this off as you can, then treat to several coats of RC900. After it's fully dried out over a few days, key it lightly and go over with a decent primer - either a 2K epoxy such as SprayMax or even better - Novol. Then you can key this and go over with the top coats - either base and lacquer, a 2K or if you're talking about the underside then a glass flake epoxy such as Buzzweld's CIO (chassis in one) or Rust busters EM-121 (epoxy mastic 1-2-1).

Probably the best rust inhibitor on the market
This isn’t the cheapest product on the market but it may be the best. The aerosol makes it easy to apply

Rust converter
Does not penetrate fully into badly corroded metal I thought a spray would penetrate better than a liquid. Very effective when area treated a few times

Best Rust Converter on the Market
Fantastic rust converter, far more effective than Kurust. Used this to treat a set of six side protection bumper brackets on my Landrover Discovery were the plastic coating had failed and had resulted in severe corrosion. Dinitrol RC 900 converted all the rust in one coat, but I gave it an extra coat to be fully sure. The plastic coating that forms makes it perfect for painting over. Then gave the brackets a final coat of Dinitrol sealant wax, great job and finish.
